Just out of curiosity, anyone else listen to di.fm?

I have no idea what that is.

Also, I think I finally thought of some good presents for people. I'm not sure if I wanna go shopping today or tomorrow though. I'm going to a hockey game later today, and I have work tomorrow evening.

PS I'm getting my first paycheck in the mail today (or at least, I should be) and it should be for about $400-450. I'm stoked, training pays crazily.

Not I, but I've contemplated it. Then I realized, I have too much music on my hard drive anyways.

I've been playing Misirlou over and over again on GH2. God I love that chart.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

What the fuck, my friends are so awesome. Tonie just bought me a 160gb portable HD for christmas. If she ever called in the bill on all the shit she's bought me, man, I'd be like 3-4k in debt to her, no kidding.

Yeah it is pretty fun, I couldn't beat it for the longest time, now I love it and play it every time I put on GH2. That, Psycho Billy Freakout, free bird and 1 other song I forget the name of it though. I need to get to the status of being able to constantly beat Jordan on expert though. I've only ever beat it once, and can't beat it afterwards now, so I needa practice that.

I've started playing GH2 after a couple of months, and I got a whole lot better. I can strum a lot faster now because I strum by rotating my hand rather than moving my entire arm, but now whenever I rotate my hand outside of the game it feels really, really weird.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

I'm really kickass at solos now, thanks to GH3, but I still have trouble strumming quickly and not screwing up in long strings like Misirlou and Knights of Cyrdonia have. But I've 5-starred the whole last set of songs besides Raining Blood in GH3 now >:U

Oh yeah, I went and beat Through the fire and flames on expert last night. GO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, that Raining blood song, on the "hard rain" part, I scored a 96% on that part too, pretty awesome! :D

Yeah, so I broke the spring system in my whammy bar a few months ago, so I fixed my whammy bar using a fairly novel system: I opened up my controller, got a rubber band, and took advantage of all of the empty space in the controller to make the rubber band just tight enough to almost match the actual spring.

I still don't have GH3, though. I would've bought it for myself today, but I don't know whether or not I'll get it for Christmas. This is the only thing I don't like about the season.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

That's disgusting . -_-

I could probably BS my way though that song, I get around an 85 when I play it on pro faceoff, but the beginning is just stupid. I can full-combo the thing on the second-fastest setting in practice, but I just don't really think my hands are big enough to comfortably stretch that much while keeping the green button held down, and at that speed.

I 100%'ed Reptilia a while back, though, that was satisfying.

I've seen videos of people holding the green button with their left hand and then tapping the rest with their right hand during that section.
