I flipped the lightswitch in an unfinished basement, It was really weird and my arm was shaky. My sister spread her entire arm on a 15w soldering iron when I was soldering a modchip

I put one of those buzzer gum packs between my teeth and pulled on it.

Just ordered my PC, have no clue if the thing comes with cables or not (assuming power supply comes with such items). Also is cooling gel completely necessary? I'm afraid to apply the stuff myself.

I didn't need any special thermal paste on mine. And yeah, it should come with the cables you need.

No More Heroes is FANTASTIC. Combat is fluid and fast, boss fights are INTENSE and difficult, the sense of humor is amazing and usage of motion control is limited but precise in its use.

It's like, the second coming of God Hand.

That's what people have been saying since they've seen the combat. I'm hoping it sells well so Suda can make sequels and he prints more copies so I can find the damn thing.

I DO. That game was HARD. I remember hardly being able to get past the first level as a kid (I rented it a few times, wish I bought it.)

arg

I need to find a place to take pictures that doesn't have parking lots and unsightly blacktop everywhere.

Ugh...it would feel so wrong.

It's kind of a creative block in a way.  I was going to take a picture of a nice little pond but there's a fucking parking lot behind it.  GARGH.

Lame. Maybe you should see what sort of pictures you can make using the urban environment. Maybe try to make images that show the contrast between the urban and natural landscape...

(If I had a camera, I'd probably be constantly trying to think of stuff like that so I could use the local scenery, which tends to be kinda boring to me.)

There's a difference between having a contrast between an urban environment and natural landscape and a canned landscape and a parking lot with a few buildings scattered around.  There's nothing really "urban" about this place, it all just looks like it might as well just be artificial scenery.  I felt like I was taking pictures for a brochure; hence the reason for my griping.

Give me a park.  Give me a city.  Hell, give me downtown Youngstown.  The photographic value of this place can be basically summed up by looking at its advertisements.

Take the picture, just take random photos and look at them to see if there's any potential.  Scouting for locations is one of the more tedious parts of photography (I dont take photos to find something, I Just visit the same place like 10 times until I find something good).

Expansive photos are really hard to photograph. From what you described, you were probably trying to photograph the pond using 18mm to try and get everything in, but as you continue to photograph, you start to realize that you really need to focus on one thing at time.
