The casing for the 5 button snapped on the inside so the left side of the key is stuck. I could possibly rig something if I got it open but the screws are ridiculously tight.

Lame, I never had much trouble getting into my controller. They were kinda tight at first, but they gave way pretty quickly.

Is it possible that something just snapped out of place rather than just flat-out broke?

Same, my mom was bugging me to look at the moon. Caught me off guard when I left school, saw the moon almost full then got home and saw it almost eclipsed.
