Oh. yeah. Whenever I ran it, I had upwards of 500 mf, and was using a Sorc.

i could load up on more mf, but im assuming hammerdin isn't the ideal mf character.  and im not sacrificing killing speed and survivability for a little more mf.  since i basicly have to stand at point blank range and take all he throws at me until he dies.  but with high resists, and 75% block, the only thing that hurts is when a physical attack connects several times in a row.  thats nothing a super healing potion can't fix, and theres always a full rejuv for the rare emergency.

yadda yadda, last 10 runs before i take off to bed.

some mediocre items i found worth keeping.

-griswolds heart (figure it looks like decent merc armor)
-sandstorm trek
-glooms trap
-jade talon (49 resist all, maby ill use it for a cnc trapsin)

You should do a ton of tyreal runs (I'm pretty sure hes the one that always drops runes) or that witch in the tower in Act 1, try to get the runes and get yourself an eth botd hammer for your hammerdin, that'd be pimp-a-licious.

you do know a hammerdin uses the spell "blessed hammer" to do damage, and not his melee weapon right?  he is a spellcaster, but in order to quickly kill bosses, i prefer to stand in point blank range as hitting anything with the hammers is a bit tricky to do.

the ideal hammerdin weapons are a heart of the oak flail or a wizardspike

also, if i got the runes for a botd weapon, i would try to find an eth 6 socket warpike to make it in and then make a titan barb specificly for it.

that aside, im not going anywhere until i get a maras ammy and a soj.  act 4 hell is fucking scary.

*edit* another gheeds, and its not better than my current one.  i hate getting these things because i have to throw my current one on the ground before it lets me pick the new one up to identify.  i guess these things aren't as rare as i assumed.

Shows you how long its been since i've played d2 lol. Then why don't you try to get the runes for the HotO then? I remember always getting that for my sorc before getting that wand which I forget what its called now. Something to do with frost anyway.
Basically at the end of it all, I had a lvl 86 sorc with a 2.3k damage frozen orb.

Lmfao who the fuck would run Izzy? He has like 999999999999999999999999999999999999hp, he takes like 20 years to kill without Static, and 99% of the time he's surrounded by souls. Also, he has the shittiest drops EVER. You're better whoring Pindle/Meph/Andy.
