Arc 3 of Jojo is really the only one worth paying attention to. The other ones are really weird. Or in the case of Stone Ocean, the characters are hideously ugly.

So, I just watched Darker than Black, season 2. I was hoping for it to be a bit more like the first season, but I really liked the ending. Sure, it wasn't dark (though it had it's moments), but I really liked the ending. I can't say it was entirely unpredictable (though I didn't guess a bunch of it, it wouldn't be that hard if you payed attention to certain details), but I felt that that was exactly where it had to go.

Considering that they brought in a character like Suou, and relied on emotions more than the original, and had many more light hearted moments and other crap (like using the word loli), it turned out rather well.

Overall, I really enjoyed it, I just kinda wish it had been a bit darker (no pun intended :/) than it was.
This is going in my sig. :)

BANNED FOR BAD PUNS X_x

I just watched Perfect Blue.

First impression: The animation looks pretty cheap.

Last impression: What the FUCK.

So yeah, it was really good and now there's no goddamn way I'm going to sleep anytime soon.

So I tried to watch To Aru Majutsu no Index. It has great animation and a fantastic soundtrack, and the story was really interesting... until the main character irrevocably lost his memory in the 6th episode. I watched until the 18th episode just hoping that I'd get to see more of the awesome that started the series out, but it never returned. This was very disappointing to me.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

It's the best show ever made. Or manga. Either one.

So I ordered the novel of Welcome to the N.H.K.! because the anime is one of my all-time favorites and I hear the book is amazing as well.

EDIT: Ok, so I was watching the first episode of the new season of Hidamari Sketch. I paused at this frame:

I don't know if the top numbers are significant, but the bottom ones are pi, and I googled the ones in the middle. Turns out the ones in the middle are the ISBN-10 code for the first Hidamari Sketch manga. I need to look up other random numbers in SHAFT's shows.

Started watching Nodame Cantabile. I get the feeling I'm going to like this series a lot.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)

Dennou Coil is really weird, but super awesome. Like, it has that ageless quality to it like Studio Ghibli stuff does, where the characters are awesome and really easy to empathize with even if they're children. It also won some Sci-fi award last year.

Monster is a surprisingly badly drawn show. I'm enjoying it, but damn. Maybe Planetes and Hellsing have spoiled me.

What the fuck man.

It looks fine. It's just not your average art style. There's more detail in that show than most others and it doesn't use any CG so things are actually animated.

Just watched Pale Cocoon. Another really good short film. The animation is absolutely beautiful.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}

Huh? There was literally a scene were Nina (?) held up her hands and they were way WAY out of proportion. That and there's other goofy things that tend to go on like that.

I just realized the opening song here was in English.

Well I really need to re-watch and marathon the first GitS series. I just watched an episode I've never seen before. Also I want to watch through G-Gundam because that show is so corny it's awesome.

but yeah, Monster is really dragging on. I just can't get hooked on it like I do with other shows.
