Okay then, finally got around to beating Other M, and the ending was actually pretty good (outside of needing to use a chargebomb when you don't even know you have one) and now I want to get that secret boss fight in, because the boss fights in this game are awesome.

Also Splinter Cell is driving me crazy. I'm enjoying it despite it being painfully linear at times, but these tanks in the Korean mission are retarded. I'll be too quite to hear, and in complete blackness with no enemies alerted and this fucking tank will still machine gun me down. It's almost random, I'll be in same-ish situations and it will fire on me half the time, and I need to walk past it several times to rescue these downed pilots for a side mission I want so badly.

and done with Breath of Fire 3. Pretty cool game, I liked how the story progressed what with the whole humble beginnings that lead to "WE MUST FIGHT GOD". The only thing that bothered me was that the game sort of dragged on, and the in game character models looked fairly different from their portraits/their much bigger sprites at the end.

The final boss was also fucking hard, I kept having to switch my main healer to his dragon form and back, and I think I had every party member die at least once and then survive with 1 health because of guts.

Now I'm looking for something else to emulate, unsure where to start. I got DKC and Castelvania Dracula X, but I doubt I'll beat them considering what I did with Shinobi.

I just had a blast in bad company after someone reminded me I owned smoke grenades. So we started on the map were the first MCOMs are on an island, so as soon as that happened I knew we would have useless snipers all over. I started the match just hovering over the enemy base in a blackhawk, and my teammates couldn't hit a single enemy. So after that I decided to just chase down my friendly snipers favorite camping spots and smoke them out. I was able to keep smoke on 3 to 4 different snipers about half the time, and one moron who was trying to snipe with a gustav. We ended up losing and we go on defense, and we still have 5 or so snipers doing basically nothing. So I continued, and I ended up getting a complaint from a kid that was last on our team from my efforts.

At one point there was a sniper on a small island near the MCOMs, and he had a very small spot used for cover. So I smoked him and he tried his hardest to see through it while maintaining cover. It was so goddamn funny.

I can't do 360s reliably in street fighter alpha. It's crazy how easy 360s are in SF4 compared to alpha. I think I found out a way to get them down, but I lack a training mode and I can't really practice it.

Welp, I'm really glad I gave Deus Ex a second try, I'm goddamn loving the game now. I really didn't see any attraction to it the first time I played it, but now I'm addicted. Also I'm sort of looking for Max Payne 2 mods, because that game deserves another play through.

Alright, fuck SF4. I JUST NOW realized why I keep fucking up my ultra inputs and I keep getting SRKs. If you hit 33 (using numberpad notation) you get an shoryuken input, which is the worst short cut. I do quick QCFs and if I mess up slightly it will register as an SRK.

Just got a super attack by hitting 2 QCF PPP. Ugh, this is starting to get to me. Al of Abel's inputs feel goofy to me.

Still cannot get GGPO working, I know my ports are forwarded properly (I've done it twice now, and I followed their directions exactly) and it still doesn't work right. I'm doing it via my wireless router, which I'm assuming is right, and I can spectate fights fine but whenever I try to connect it just does not work. Why did 2DF have to go away...

New post, because it's unrelated to all that jazz. The new Bad Company 2 maps are up, and most of them are pretty good (haven't played cold war, but I hear it's goddamn terrible). The only problem with one of them is that it's so massive that if you don't have a team working somewhat together (snipers taking 4 person jeeps up to the mountains just so they can camp) it can be a real pain, considering it takes about 2 minutes to run from the first cap to the middle cap. Oh, and this is handy.

Oh, and I FINALLY beat Donkey Kong Country, loads of fun and just the right difficulty. The only thing that bothered me was that on the snow levels I was basically forced to do blind jumps because of how large the goddamn sprites are in this game.

Triple post, because I finally beat Chaos Theory. Overall a DAMN good game, but I didn't really get a hand of it until the last level or so. So overall a great game, shame that they won't be making any more Splinter Cell games like CT. Is Double Agent any good?

Holy fuck, the KF update is nuts. The new map is real hard, and they adjucted something on hardmode because it's much, MUCH harder then it was before. Scrakes spawn constantly and there just seems to be more of every enemy type.

Alright then, I have been playing a plethora of them, and I shall speak of them.

Overlord: Never played this series before, and I'm really loving it. The controls could be a bit better, but overall it's a fairly awesome game.

Amnesia: really digging it, but I've been waiting until late night to play it. One of the few games to get me really nervous, despite some parts being a bit slow.

Left 4 Dead 2: damn glad I bought it, I'm really enjoying it so far. Seems like a decent upgrade from the first game, and the new guns add a decent amount of variety to it.

Super mario galaxy 2: really loving it, seems to have just the right difficulty and the level variety is grand. Oh yeah, and Yoshi is baller.

Sin and Punishment 2: a fuckton of fun, but I haven't played it all that much. Will probably keep at it and try to get some decent high scores up. Which reminds me, how the hell do I get a Wii online on a secure connection.

Also my god, Amnesia is terrifying. I just got to the part where I must sneak through narrow hallways and prison cells and there are enemies walking around, which has NOT happened yet in the game (well, with these enemies). Basically I MUST use stealth, and these niggers are spooky.

bit of a bump (if anyone will notice this) but has anyone here played Dead Rising 2 or Just Cause 2? I have my eye on both, but I need to update my OS to play Just Cause 2. Oh yeah, anyone mind explaining that to me as well :3c

bumping to hope someone reads this. I updated my Wii and finally got it online, what wiiware games are worth the money? I'm interested in a plethora of them (Contra, Castelvania, cave story, the bit trip games, that LostWinds game, Orbient) but I know fairly little about them. It's just that I've really overlooked downloadable console games for a while, and there's got to be something really good there by now.

Alright then, I've cut into my large chunk of games nicely.

Beat Pandora Tomorrow, surprisingly good game considering it was a linear stealth game. No where near as amazing as Chaos Theory, but still worth a play.

Beat Overlord, really enjoyed the game, but the puzzles were a bit too simple and most of the bosses were boring. Trying out the expansion and will probably play the sequel fairly soon.

Beat Amnesia, and it was AMAZING. One of the scariest horror games I've ever played, and the story to it was actually really interesting. Will buy and play Penumbra Black Plague probably soon.
