so i have a cold, been a while since ive had one this bad.

i mean, im normally on the internet 8+ hours a day due to the being unemployed/having nothing better to do.  i was online for about 5 minutes yesterday, and the rest of the day was spent watching star trek enterprise, whilst barely moving at all.

several days ago my dad was in the same position, then i catch it from him. FFFFFFFFF.

anyway, i feel good enough to actually sit up without feeling drained, yay.

as a star trek series, enterprise is pretty low on the list of "good star trek"

as a sci fi series, its pretty entertaining. 

anyway, i like enterprise, SUCK IT DOWN!

From what I heard, enterprise was like Star Trek meets soap opera.

I'm a fan of the original Star Trek, and TNG, and to a much lesser extent, Voyager (much). All the other Star Treks can suck it.

voyager > tng > ds9 > enterprise

can't coment on the original series, because I HAVEN'T SEEN IT(ok, maby an episode, but that isn't enough to make proper judgment about it).

What I enjoyed about the original is that it was really based in philosophy. Many episodes had plots created to explore some philosophical question or issue.

I watched an episode of Enterprise. Wasn't impressed.

I discussed the show with a number of my friends who have seen a bunch of it, and the consensus is that Enterprise = Star Trek meets soaps.

Though I will admit that Enterprise may actually be better than DS9. I still have no idea what the actual PLOT of DS9 was supposed to be. Every episode I've ever watched seemed like filler/useless/the series was going nowhere fast.

ds9 was awesome pretty much solely due to quark sisko, and odo.
