So I'm currently transferring all of the media from my old computer to my new one 4GB at a time with a flash drive.

I suppose you can't just plug in your old hard drive and copy it?

That would certainly make things easier. The OTHER way is to simply plug the old hard drive in and leave it.
This is going in my sig. :)

The IDE slot in my new computer is buried under cables. It would probably take just as long to fit in the old hard drive. Besides, the old computer is still in use, just not by me. I'm almost done anyways. I only had about 30gb of not-easily-replaceable stuff.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

Ahh, see, I've got enough components/half put together computers to have about 3 working computers here, and enough hard drives for each of them to have 1 and some of them to have 2.

They're likely never going to be put together. Because nobody but me seems to know how to, and I honestly don't care about having them.
This is going in my sig. :)

You should look into cable management, it'll fuck up your airflow, not to mention looks shitty if you have a side window. I would just plug in the hard disk into the motherboard and set it on an ESD bag, while the case is open. Turn it on, transfer files, turn it off, reinstall drive onto old computer. (or even just move them if it's over a network) Now would also be a great time to backup data.

Yeah, the only way I get away with having a mass of cables is because my entire side is off my computer, creating an open system that doesn't heat up as much as a closed case would.
This is going in my sig. :)

My airflow's fine. I have 5 fans: Intake on the front, intake in the side panel, 2 in the back, and one on the ceiling, as well as the heatsinks for my processor and video card. I almost never feel hot air coming out, and I've opened up and felt the heatsinks and they've never been too hot. Of course, I haven't tried overclocking yet. I do have a side window, though, so maybe I'll try and clean up.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

I'd give 4.0 a shot.  It's a hell of a lot better than it was, and at this point I'd say it's probably better than 3.9.  It definitely runs better, overall.

Also, for the record, there are some bugs in dubaiOne.  I discovered a few of them as I started actually using the theme on my setup.  I'll probably try to fix them and just send the patches to AJ.

Looks kinda nice, but I'm too stubborn to switch from my default theme.

And I may switch to 4.0, since apparently it runs better. Last time I tried 4.0 it didn't run as well as 3.9

So I got to Taiwan today after nearly 24 hours in transit. Jesus Christ, I have never been anywhere so humid in my entire life.

I envy you. Sure, I've been to mexico, but I'd much rather go someplace interesting, like Taiwan :/
