basically, its an eye drop, and your pupils get XBAWX HUEG.

there isn't any pain, and if you do it at night, and lights you see, they look way brighter, but other than that there isn't much else other than looking cool.

nothing to be worried about.

Second'd. I recently had this done, my vision got blurry within 10 mins, and I couldn't see anything real well close up. Driving was okay hah. By the time I got back in my car, it was at least a tad bit less blurry. When I got home, I was still effected by it, so I took a picture:

Back when I got my eyes dilated when I was...6? it hurt a ton. Apparently eye examinations have come a long way since then. They gave me these retarded paper glasses that I had to wear for like half a day and if I took them off and opened my eyes, it hurt like hell and I'm pretty sure it's what Cyclops feels every time he lets off an OPTIC BLAST.

It's nothing to be afraid of.

It shouldn't hurt at all, just impair your vision and make you look goofy. Also OPTIC BLAST.

I had my eyes dilated when I was...14?  15?  It's really not bad unless the area you're in is too bright and, even then, you'd have to stare at the light for a while to feel more than slight eyesore.

I had my eyes dilated a couple times.  It's not that bad, just that everything is blurry and the light around you seems very intense, naturally, so I just wore sunglasses.
