So its like this. There's a website. And on this website, you submit pictures. Photo-fuck-it? No. Now, add the ability to add captions (and comments?) to pictures users upload, namely for the lulz. Not only this, but the idea is built on being able to thumb up or down each caption AND corresponding picture. Basically Digg/bash.org/stubleupon, but with photos and their respective captions/comments. Maybe audio, too? Video? Comments welcome, indeed.

lulzpix.net is funny, but pretty ROFLmemeMeowMeow that people wouldnt understand. I had something like captionpop.com or lolcaption.com or something.

moderation would be required, as well as an 18+ section and shit. A flag system would be great... Like if it had at least 100 flaggings with at least 20% of viewers flagging it, it would be immediately removed. I think a system like that would be really helpful, because it allows the community and REAL PEOPLE to approve/disprove what is junk and what's not. However, bots, multiple IPs could circumvent this system, allowing them to make the server remove perfectly legitimate additions. Then, with that in mind, perhaps a flag rate limiter could be improvised... Say, only being able to flag something X times every X minutes from a user account. Obviously, email addresses will be linked per account, so the system would kind of rely on the scarcity of email availability (like every other wibsite), relying on the fact that email addresses arent usually just given away to automatic systems. But, you can do *@someonesdomain.tld and circumvent even that... Maybe some way of detecting clone emails from obsure domains would be possible... Or, just a relly good CAPTCHA system. ( gmail, yahoo mail)

Perhaps a hybrid image/math system?  Some forums have a system that asks users questions like "What is 2 + 4?" during registration.  Since they're all phrased the same way, I fail to see why one can't write a bot that would solve it and populate the field.  If you had a system that generated an image with a math problem on it I think it would be a bit more secure.

Also, it might be wise to force users to opt-in to see adult content rather than having them opt-out of it or ignore it.  Additionally, the content should probably be locked to unregistered users...just a bit of a CYA thing, really.

Also, giving instructions like "skip the first 2 letters" and stuff referring to a CAPTCHA seems to be a good way to mess bots up. I've seen something similar to that once before, and thought that more people should use stuff like that.
