Ugh.  The friendship system is so bloody annoying.  SO BLOODY ANNOYING.

Muting the phone only helps so much because it constantly winds up getting turned back on when you (HEAVEN FORBID) try to run missions.  UGH!

i beat the fucking game, and i just want to get some achievements and do side missions, when some fucker calls me, and i hang up on his ass.

because of this (i worked up EVERYBODY to 100%) i lose respect/like, so that means if i want to keep this stuff at 100%, i have to basically take out said friend again, get it back up to 100%, then make sure EVERY SINGLE TIME i want to go play the game to dick around and do side missions, to mute my phone.

i mean, these people shouldn't bother me when you've beaten the game and got them up to 100%, but noooo rockstar decided they will ALWAYS bother you.

how did this get through playtesting again?

You can set your phone to silent (up -> options -> uhh, bottom-most option) but there are a bunch of things that set it back to on, LIKE DOING ANYTHING.
