My friend and I picked up some weed today. Let's put it this way. I was high from about 2:30 till about 9 at night... The only probems was that when I sobered up, I wanted more.

Oh, so jealous. When I smoke these days, I'm only stoned for like two hours, unless I smoke an unreasonable amount, or the weed is some sort of miracle strain. Speaking of which, I just smoked some particularly delicious sativa - All sorts of wonky CEV's are going right now. D:

But yeah, being someone who only smokes occasionally, I tend to always get stoned for a good while.

We smoked 2 grams of weed for that, and since my friend only generally smokes poppers, I had to use my pipe as a bowl for his bong, lol. Oh well.

Congratulations.  I was grooving on some painkillers about two hours ago, but now they're just doing what they're really supposed to be doing.    Not as much fun, but I'll certainly take that over being in enough pain to keep me from moving. :3

As a side note, it's almost time for me to go to work, which means it's almost time to get high before work It makes the drive so much nicer, especially when I've got music like Tom Waits to listen to on the way.

I've driven stoned enough times that it's not difficult. In fact, I rather enjoy it. It's easier to get lost if i'm somewhere I'm not familliar with, but other than that, I'm perfectly fine driving after a bit of chronic. And I am mostly sober by the time I get here (or at least far enough past the real high that I can function normally when I go to work).

I will say that I'll never drink and drive though. Thats a scary thought.

Exactly. Im scared shitless of the idea of drinking and driving.

The same doesn't apply to driving high though. Mostly because I have done it, and it hasn't been a problem, and because I find that unlike being drunk, I'm able to think straight when high. I don't speed, and I give myself extra room most of the time because I realize that my reaction speed is probably compromised.

I wouldn't drive like that unless I really thought I could. I've driven pretty damn high before (as in, to the point where I shouldn't have) But luckily those were late at night, when all I had to do was go across town. And even then, I managed alright. Mind you, if I ever had to do serious driving, as in, with other traffic, I'd never get that high. I know my limits when it comes to driving and functioning, because I've occasionally (in safer conditions) gone past them... I've been lucky enough that I could still make it home on those bad nights, so anything not as bad as those is good in my books.
