Also played some DDR-X with Mr. OmegaOmni last week.  The pads are absolute shit.  I mean, holy shit is that thing poorly designed.  If I were Konami I'd be suing the fuck out of the jokers who designed that.

lol FFA?

That machine is apparently gone now.  Also, for a considerably better (yet still pretty unacceptable) experience with DDRX, go to Harrisburg!  That machine was downright amazing in comparison.  Still lags like nobody's business, but I could at least AA some stuff when I attempted to compensate for said lag.  The machine at FFA tried to fail me several times.  xD

On the bright side, I got three new AAAs, one being my first doubles AAA.  Unfortunately, they're all on light, so it's really useless to give much of a hoot about it.  :3

Hopefully they're getting a new one, one that isn't horribly infected with teh sux0r.

Even Wikipedia is all like "hell naw:"

Quote
Cabinet changes in North America

As was stated by Konami at ASI, significant changes were made to the DDR X cabinets released in the United States. In comparison to models that had been exhibited before release, the new cabinets featured different lighting and sound systems, the inclusion of USB ports rather than SD cards as had been previously announced, and a monitor experiencing large amounts of lag. Significant changes to the construction of the pads themselves were also made, including the pad being covered by one piece of metal rather than the traditional design of separate panels (with its connection to the main cabinet covered by a metallic platform), and lower quality sensors in the pads themselves, all inferring that the manufacturers cut corners in the construction of the cabinets.

Jimmy "Jimbo" Wales himself has been quoted as saying that, "[Dance Dance Revolution X's] arcade pad design is totally fucking shitty." Wales went on to attest that, "the retarded fuckwits who designed that shitty ass shit should be strung up by their balls and raped by baboons." [citation needed]

Yeah, really now.  That "Brave Firefighters" game was beating it out in terms of profits.  DDRX was barely breaking $5/day.

Epic. That's all I'm going to say.

The word "epic" doesn't even begin to describe the amount of BBcode markup that went into that post.

Yes, it is an easy 33(?). Whatever the difficulty is, it should be about 8-10 less, lol. I've seen 20's that are harder. Like I said, once you get past about 20, the difficulty ratings are absolute bullshit.

AAA'd Freckles.  lol.

Also, I'm transporting my Cobalt Flux, my stereo, my PS2 copies of DDR/ITG, and quite possibly my computer to campus on Friday for our club meeting.

That'll be an accomplishment.

I guess you could consider this an anti-accomplishment post.

I played StepMania for the first time since forever.  Holy god I suck.  I mean I really suck.  I couldn't even make it through Skor's Emerald Sword before my fingers cramped up. <.<  I used to be able to easily AAA that shit!

IIDX was easier to get back into.  I literally picked up the controller, not having played for about half a year, and was right back to passing 10s.  StepMania is more hardcore, apparently.

I hate you... I could never get a AAA on that. I'm REALLY lucky if I can ever FC it now. (even though I can now play bullshit triples and such that I could never play before).

I quit IIDX for ITG...again

I have a bunch more and some of that stuff is outdated (Sweet world) but I don't have pics for it. I've been posting ITG stuff at AIJ a lot lately.

And uhh I think this was the last good score I got a pic of in IIDX:

Got a Holic [a] AAA sometime after and stopped for the time being. Tried to go back about a week ago and was struggling to AAA 9s so it was too frustrating. I'll probably start it back up when my live subscription expires again...in 5 months.

Had a good day of officials today.

Stuff without pics:
-Flagged Mellow Hard
-96 VerTex
-95 Summer Speedy Mix
-99.6 Hand of time
-99.35 The message

Stuff with pics:
This pic is old but I still think its my best? Had a Blue combo till 60%:

Need to quad this...:

First try today 2nd Official Expert Quad/5th Overall. Hold drop was pad otherwise I wouldn't count this (I probably wouldn't count it if it was a pad decent/wayoff/miss either so this is an exception I guess). I'll get a legit quad whenever I decide to play this crap again:

Need to Quad this as well. Chart is so fun. Also got a video of a 2 ex FEC:

Then videos:
Meh:

I'd get better at this if I could stand playing it :/:

Psalm Pilot 2 ex FEC:
