That's the lolstupid beginner steps, right? Where the entire end of the sim is a huge jumpstream?

is it just me, or does it seem like it's harder to read notes while dancing to a chart than doing it on the keyboard?

Hell yes it is.  I use C700 on both index and spread now yet keep it around 400-450 bpm on foot.  I can read higher speeds when I rape the bar (I max out at roughly 600-650 when I cling to the thing) but I prefer to stay in my no-bar comfort zone since I enjoy playing without the bar more than with it if possible.

If a chart is kind of cluttered I'll usually put the speed up around 500-550 and slap hallway on.  It's awesome how it spreads the arrows apart yet gives the illusion of a slower speed.

Never tried hallway.. Must be because I have no place near here to reliably play on an arcade machine, and I don't have a way to connect my pad to my comp yet (which will be completely made of win whenever I get the adapter. I hate having a tiny amount of songs to chose from.)
This is going in my sig. :)

Was hoping Bloodrush for my 7th 12 pass and was hoping Pandy for my first 13, but ended failing on both :(. I would've passed Bloodrush if I didn't screw up the 32nds...it wasn't even tiring.

Anyways I got two accomplishments today:

Temple of boom Expert. Upped from a 97 to 98. 2nd time playing it on pad:

Passed a new 11. I've passed every 11 now. Just four 12s left and all 13s...

I have a question. For locked songs on JP CS releases, do they unlock after playing x amount of songs or something else? Preferably how do I unlock the extra stage songs for normal play.

I'm not gonna be getting HS after all, i'm gonna be getting DD.

You don't have to unlock anything from AC. You unlock pretty much all of the songs by either playing some arcade mode or by playing them in whatever expert course the're in. Only exception is Drunk Monky. To get that, AA Light Motion, Super Highway and Attack the Music. Drunk Monky shows up in Extra Stage.

The only ones i'd get are Distorted, Happy Sky, and Red.

Doesn't seem like many songs that I would play on any other styles that I cant get on 11-13.

8th and 9th both have a ton of songs you can't play elsewhere.

Anyway,

B/pass Kachofusetsu [a]
A/pass Harmony and Lovely [a]
6 EX away from A on Type Mars [a] (I did pass though)
Almost AAA Nijiiro [a]

I love DistorteD so much. 3 new 11's in one day hooray. Too bad the 12's are all ridiculous.

UGH, why is DDR virtually nonexistent in Maryland. ;_;

Anyhoo, last time I went to the movies (and saw Shoot 'Em Up -- fucking awesome, go see it RIGHT NOW) I played SuperNOVA and was amazed that I only got two pad misses in CSFILSM. <_<

I also managed to nearly pull the incredibly loose bar out of the pad a couple of weeks ago while playing MaxX Unlimited heavy.  Sharde was a witness to that catastrophe.

Haha, almost removed the bar? nice.

The fact that I was leaning against the said bar when it came up made it considerably less nice, haha. XD

The bar still stays in there, even if you tug on it from above, but when it comes out about half-way it will go back a LOT farther (probably a foot back) and it doesn't feel secure at all.

I've been playing alot of doubles lately...

I got 7 greats on Little Boy [Heavy].  I used to play off and on, but now that I've started playing doubles with bar...it's all goood.
