I hate the solos in that song, lol. I never get very far because of the crazy shit at the start.

Alright...FUCKING SHIT, I HATE THE DEVIL WENT DOWN TO GEORGIA. Basically, I can't even get past the first solo strain unless Lou gets "whammy" as a power-up. And then I end up missing my power-up anyway because I can't solo for shit.

Haha, well, i know I have NO chance at ever passing that any time soon. Maybe by the time GH 7 is out, I'll have a chance

I remember the first time I passed that haha..  you'll get there, once you beat TTFAF and do that for a bit, the devil is just a different technique in the way that there are more patterns and fretwork than the other.

Well, I've got no chance of beating TTFATF any time soon, thanks to that painfully ridiculous opening. That aside, I did do relatively well on it in expert playing on pro faceoff. I think I had something like 86% of notes hit or something on my first run through.

Thats good! I was at about 84-85% in practice mode when i just slowed down the time and learned to tap the intro, after you get that down, just do the rest of the song like you normally would

Well, thing is I was so used to the timing necessary for hammer ons in GH2 that the huge window in 3 felt like going from IIDX to PIU, lol.

I don't think I could match that now, since I haven't been able to play GH in ages, aside from the odd couple songs at a friends place. Our GH2 and wired controller is on loan to a "friend" of my brother's who he never sees any more, and our GH3 wireless controller wasn't working earlier, thanks to one of the pins in the neck getting stuck in, and I haven't tested it out yet, because I simply cannot stand the wireless controller for the PS2. I hate the feel of the strum bar, and overall it just feels like there's a bunch of lag between the ocntroller and the PS2.

5 Star all but 1 song on GH3.............Raining blood. I got a 4 star with like 200ish thousand. Last song for all 5 stars on expert! Also, finally got it down to where I nail the beginning solo 100% in TTFAF. Weeee!

Fixed for me...damn that Satch Boogie is a pain...it's harder than batin'...nice practice though.

Only song I've yet to 5 star in all of GH is Jordan...now that the outlook on the buttons on the screen changed since GH3 I don't think I'll ever be able to.
