one more game of iidx before sleep, played some 9's on random, got my ass kicked, hand got tired due to the amount of dexterity those patterns where taking out on my right hand, and thumb in particular.  decided to play one more lovely [a], got my ass kicked, but i forsee myself passing it within a year.  then i go to a certain 11* song that i figure was doable.

Once you get into being able to play it, yes. I love the patterns at the start, and I definitely see myself improving a bit, despite having not played in months, lol. I need to get my right thumb into play, and (drastically) improve my scratching, lol. Anything with more than 1 or 2 scratches in a row owns me.

Also, I wish I could pass Genome Screams [h], those patterns kick my ass :/

Also, why did they have to make Era [h]'s ending such bullshit?

And lastly: I wish I had my memory card back... it sucks not having [a] :/  Damn my brother lending out GH and the memory card....

Yeah, the ending of era (nostalmix) [h] doesn't make any bloody sense.  I honestly don't think the second key on the "jumps" have any keysound assigned to them, it doesn't seem to make any difference if I "forget" to do them (aside from the very obvious lifebar impact).  Oh well.  I can AA that on the JP styles now, so I don't care.   It was annoying before I could consistently pass it, though.

Fuck, now I wanna play IIDX...argh.

I just hate when it gives you the 2 right side blues (keys 4 and 6 counting from the left) in chords/jumps, if it wasn't for that part there and a couple other notes in that section, I could probably pass it. I can't manage to hit those at all though, and when I try, it fucks up my hand location then I pretty much miss everything else there.

Those used to give me trouble on era, but I've gotten used to them over time.  It just takes a lot of practice.  There isn't a whole lot of room for error with IIDX (talk about something that didn't really needed to be said ).

Trust me, the second you find yourself able to do that without thinking about it, you'll have a BM:US AAA on it without a whole lot of effort.

Lol, if only I had a BMUS AAA. I've got plenty of AA's on stuff, but my timing is still bad. Honestly, I have no idea how people can be so dead on to be able to get AAA's on the arcade versions... I know BMUS's timing is lax in comparison, but christ, that game is hard to time :/ Not to mention songs like Summer Vacation, which is way harder to time than it has any right to be, lol. Triplets are much harder than you'd think they should be :/

Hey, no one said it was easy. ;P

The timing on BM:US feels a bit weird to me and I have a number of things that would be considered AAA's on it (read: JP IIDX A's, AA's, and AAA's), yet seem to have a hard time getting them.  I can consistently get an A on V [h] yet can't seem to pull that off in BM US...it's strange.

Then again, I can count the amount of times I've played BM:US on one hand, so that might be part of the problem.

-Cleared all the 8s in distorted and need to do the 9s now (breathless [a] is probably the one 9 i'll have trouble with).
-I AAA'd one of the 8s, Wana (the good-cool drum n rock song) [h].
-Passed 4 new 10s!

So now I have 4 10s left to pass in DD and one [h] (Solid state squad...fucking stupid ending).

I really need to play IIDX more. I have yet to recapture my skill from when I passed Colors [a] and stuff like Go Berzerk [a]. I just don't have the stamina.
