Wow, that does suck hard. At least the bus was a decent temperature.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

Sup kids. Been busy as balls lately, but luckily tonight is the last night I have work for at least a few weeks. Yay seasonal jobs. I also got a raise, up 45 cents to $10.45/hr now. Sweeeet.

I also got a haircut of epic proportions. It hasn't been this short since middle school, I like it so much more though. It doesn't annoy me anymore. I'll post pix later.

OpenGL is awesome.

;)

It amazes me how easy it is to use and understand after you get the initial scene set up.  I can see why so many people use it.

Wow, yeah, that's the FIRST thing you notice when you but your hair (especially when you drive a car with the windows down). I still miss being able to tie my hair back.

Please, please please please animate this and make it your avatar. That would be the coolest thing I've ever seen, ever.

(Or you could send me your program and I'll do it. :))

Maybe after I go through the lighting tutorial. ;)

The program and Windows are pretty much married.  I didn't bother making it cross-platform in the slightest since I'm just trying to learn the API at this point. :x  It pretty much relies on the Windows API to do things.

That said, I really should migrate the base code to SDL.  SDL is easier than pie to use and using it would make the code a hell of a lot cleaner.

Isn't rotating things in OGL mind numbingly easy?

I looked through those tutorials ages ago just to see what was required, and get some idea of how the code works, and I'm pretty sure that the code to rotate that thing was fucking easy (like, issuing a Rotate(stuffs) call type thing).
This is going in my sig. :)

BANNED FOR BAD PUNS X_x

HOLY SHIT NO WAY REALLY

My laptop dual-boots Windows and Linux, so it's not an issue. :P

Pretty much everything about OGL is easy, haha.

HOLY SHIT NO WAY REALLY

Eh, an SDL app looks exactly the same as that but it'll compile and run under Linux with no code changes.

The NeHe tutorials for Windows goes over using the Windows API, rather than a cross-platform solution (hi SDL), to create the application window.  Rectifying that would prove to be a Good Thing(TM) in the long run, if I get unlazy enough to do so.

Lol, I just put TightVNC on a guy down the hall's computer. Specifically the guy who stole my clarinet that one day. Now I can do anything to his computer.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}
