Well, it ended up being about kitchen knives, so it lost a lot of awkwardness. The RA was basically saying that other girls on the hall felt somewhat threatened by the knives. The owner actually cooks and uses the knives for cooking, but since they're knives, they're viewed as lethal weapons first and cooking utensils second. I think it's pretty stupid, but that's a rant for another time.

Also, although I had to drastically reduce the quality of the MP3 to get it under 1MB, I managed to send Still Alive to one of my friends using PrankDialer.

eww, mp3 @ low bitrate sounds like utter shit.

Would that by any chance support AAC+? Because 24kbps AAC+ sounds marginally better than 96kbps mp3...

Well, school finals are rolling around, and most everyone is panicking. I have one last speech I need to make for my Speech class tomorrow, and then I am effectively done (I have one final, which is a cakewalk). We are supposed to give a five-to-seven-minute presentation where we attempt to sell something to the class.

When given the project, I immediately asked one thing:

'Do we have to be serious?'

'Uh...no.'

Therefore, I am selling the Titan Missile Base. I will be marketing to the class as if they were beginning their careers as evil overlords and are in need of a headquarters to conquer the world from.

This will be glorious.

As far as I know, it's only mp3. It did sound like shit, but considering it's going through a phone, I doubt it would sound much better on his end if it was higher quality.

Also, I got an old trenchcoat for $40 from an army surplus shop over Thanksgiving break. It's really warm.

And LunarKeys, please record and post that speech.

Well, phone digital encoding for speech is generally gonna mangle music anyway, but mp3s REALLY suffer from artifacts at high compression ratios. the GSM Full Rate standard used in mobile phones is 13kb/s, but have you ever heard music over a phone? It doesn't sound half bad. Not to mention it isn't destroyed by the distortion mp3s have :/

Within the last 2 weeks I've dodged a rabbit and 2 possums while driving, I'm getting rather good at it.

Also I thought I was free from school, but I have make up work, a project and 2 exams. I really REALLY hope I get at least decent grades in 2 classes, because I know one of them is going to be a flat out F.

Also I'm thinking about dicking around with modding/coding/what have you (but I'm completely lost as far as that goes).
