Also my sister made a comment about my desktop (wish is a female with a rather large ass) which was something along the lines of "wow, her ass is almost as big as mine". Ugh, I hate her.

Link'd because it's not what one would call work safe.

Which reminds me, I'm rather fond of my new desktop, let me bump the other thread.

I started a project recently to do two things: to bring global hotkeys to iTunes (since it's sorely lacking them) and to make my G15 sing.  The former was pretty easy and I finished it before beddie time last night.  The latter was realized today:

Project Logitunes has officially began (and, knowing me, just ended).  It'll probably work with non-G15s (actually, I'm going to make sure that it does; I need the global hotkeys feature for my laptop) but it'll definitely target this keyboard.

Triple post for awesome:

Whee, iTunes is actually usable now! ;D  Now I just need to make a tray icon that doesn't look awful.

What?

Also I just had the longest 2 days ever, and I was basically stuck as a third wheel while my friend drove a friend of a friend around to different places, and I missed my friend who was only in town this weekend...

What?

What in reference to what?

...that was confusing.  Here's a rundown, I guess:

1) Global hotkeys.  iTunes supports the play/pause/stop/previous/next buttons on multimedia keyboard natively, but only when the application is up and in focus.  Using its SDK I added global hotkeys support for it, allowing you to control it when it's in the background.  There are other programs that do this but many of them are needlessly convoluted.

2) The actual LCD display.  Logitech's G15 software has a media display but it doesn't seem to support iTunes for whatever reason.  I have another thread running in the global hotkeys program that displays the current track, artist, song position, and state (i.e. playing or stopped) on the G15's LCD.  I'm going to extend its functionality a bit to provide more information by utilizing the four soft buttons that the G15 has under the display (visible in the second picture).

3) The tray icon.  Just something to let the user (i.e. me) know that it's running and to provide an "exit" option.  And, hoo boy, it looks terrible.  Here's what it looks like at 16x magnification:

I basically just scribbled LogiTunes on a blank image.  When I ran out of space I started putting the letters in other parts of the image.

And no, that is not the final icon. :P

I am failing at this 'not lurking' thing.

I quit my job and went back into business for myself. Now I get to say to my friends with pride that I'm an entrepreneur!

(of course, much facepalming ensues after they ask what that word even means, and then even more so when they mock me for what I do: I sell trading cards.)

I just made the Trackmania data on my computer not-easily-accessible because I've been playing that game far too much lately.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

Oh, now i c wut u did thur spectere. That's rather handy.

Also I think this is amazingly dick of me, but I think my friend's stupidity is getting worse and it's really starting to piss me off. It's like the way he usually acts and his actions are never thought out and he just goes on whim and just tries not to piss anyone off. He said he was going to quit weed because of his military drug test and he got stoned several times today, then when I said I "needed" (I was really just tired of dicking around and doing nothing around people I didn't know/seemed like he exact kind of person I would avoid) to go home he got drunk and stoned to the point were he needed to sober up before he could drive.

I don't know, maybe the military will help him in the long run, if he survives...
