Independance Day--PSX
I loathe this game with a passion...I rented it from Blockbusters when it first came out and when I died on the first level a million times I never played it again...that is all I can stand to say about this game.
Friday the 13th--NES
OMG!!!! I now have this for my NES Emulator and I love/hate this game.
Love: because the AVGN didn't take it far enough with his review and I found out that there are powerful weapons in the game that can totally destroy Jason and his mom. You start out with the rock/stone...then if you jump at the right time/place you can get the knife which is better because it goes straight. The Machete is like Jason's axe that he throws but it goes faster. The axe is slower but more powerful. The Torch goes in a higher arc meaning you will most likely miss but the flame stays behind for a few seconds more damaging anyone in contact. The Pitchfork is the ultimate weapon, it brings back the speed of the machete, combined with the damage of the Torch and adds the ability of the weapon going through the enemies able to kill many more.
Hate: The fucking rock arcs over the fucking zombies and that forest takes soooooooo freaking long to get out of...even if you know where to go. Also, Jason's mom is a royal bitch, her moves are soo eratic that it is almost impossible to tell wether she's going to attack you or just keep doing what she's doing. Also Jason is a douche on the 3rd day...if you survive that long.
