Apparently I'm not the only person who plays here. So discuss the best guns AKak47and some mad strategies.

Honestly I don't care for the AK or M4, but that's just me. I prefer the scoped assault rifles, because I like pretending that I can snipe

I actually played today for the first time in probably 6 months, and didn't do terribly. Granted it was a gungame server, but whatever. That was surprisingly fun.

I suck at sniping. I just need to practice my strafing and stopping and I'd almost have it down. Also AK is one of the best guns once you get it down and M4 has awesome spray.

Eh, if I wanted to spray, I'd use the P90. That gun freaking rules :V

M4 has stronger bullets and a lot more accurate at range then the P90. Also the 5-7 is like the glock with a tiny bit more power. I'd try the compact (p228), it's probably they most controllable gun in the game and it's a little weaker then the deagal, use it once up close and they really wont have much of a chance.

Well yes, I know that, it's just that the P90 is so freaking satisfying to use.

Actually, I do like using the p228, and I agree, it's seriously underrated. I tend to prefer the 5-7 though, because it's hilariously accurate, it's pretty freaking easy to just spray away at people's head and take them out that way.

Also, another really underrated thing, the FA-MAS on burst. Freaking awesome :3

I wish more guns had it, it basically spaces all 3 of your shots within inches of each other so just aim for the neck.

Exactly, because even if you for some odd reason don't get a headshot (the third shot tends to be off by a fair margin), two bursts to the chest takes someone down.

Okay, I'm tired of people of thinking AWP/auto sniper isn't cheap. One hit to the torso and it dose like 200+ damage, plus if you hit them in the arms while your holding a rifle it will go straight threw your arm and into your chest. That and it isn't even slightly hard to sniper with above 40 FPS.

I honestly don't think the AWP is cheap, but the auto-snipers are a bit silly. They're fun to rush around and no-scope people with though, especially the CT variant.

The autos are weaker, and they get widely inaccurate when you fire more then 3 bullets in a row, even while crouching. Plus if your camping in the right place with an awp your basically invincible. It throws off the games gun balance for me.

Well, I tend to play only the official maps, if I can help it, because they're very well balanced. Plus you move slower than molasses with an AWP.
