I want to play Diablo II with you guys, but we need a time and date.

How does January 31 at 7:00PM EST work for everyone?

As for the other details, all communication will be done via a Skype conference call (unless someone suggests a better alternative).  /players 8 will most likely be set, so the more people we have the better.  I will host the game on my computer, so if you can't get on b.net for any reason (such as your copy of Diablo II being a PERFECTLY LEGITIMATE one) you'll still be able to play.  As expected, you will be required to roll a new character.  We can discuss who will play what prior to the start of the game.

Torrents are by far the easiest way of doing things. And there are plenty of them out there to obtain your PERFECTLY LEGITIMATE copy from too.

I'll have to take a night off of FFXI haha. Just shooting for running through Normal A5? I'll make a bone necro, they're pretty trash later even with good gear but they basically rape normal.

I'm thinking of making a pally of some sort, any ideas on builds?

Smite pallies are the best way to go.

I was thinking more along the lines of some weird build, not something mind numbingly common, lol.

I think I might play as a pally, focusing on defensive auras.  Still kind of on the fence between that, a summoning furfag rogue, and some sort of barb.

I really don't know how to play the other classes well, so something that's not that important to team success would be great for me.

Well, it's not hard to be a barb tank... And tanks can be helpful just by existing.

And if you're going defensive spec, maybe I should go offense... And holy freeze can be a decent corpse destruction method, too (which can really come in handy sometimes).
