No. If we did fuck yeah bring it back. I play the game all the time.

If you want, you can play BT (BunnyTrack, a type of CTF) with me on my clan server:

8.9.6.211:7777

or you can play on another server I play on that's almost always populated:

209.40.96.164

My name in the game is VRN|VerTex^2.

But yeah everyone should get UT99. Definitely a classic and I honestly think it's better than 04.

Yeah, I thought '04 was disappointing.

You have some free time now?  I'm ready to play, I was just playing some big 16 vs 16 bot games at Facing Worlds with the instagib.  Really fun but I dunno if you can use addbots during netplay.

EDIT 3: Wow i've been playing some of this stuff and DAMN i suck at it :o

EDIT: My username's Ayria in UT99 btw.

EDIT 2: okay, I connected.  But my character is getting set to some ugly assed dude instead of Sniper Wolf.  Wtf.

Yeah I got tired and went to bed... :[

I'll probably be on the one that's populated more often, off and on, today.  209.40.96.164 I guess.

also somebody put the sniperwolf skin on the servers so i stop getting changed to hugh or whatever plz ;(

edit 2: is there a way to make the maps that are downloaded for netplay permanently go into your maps/tiles/sounds directories?

edit 3: okay wtf 8.9.6.211 has some gay hard fucking castle map going and 209.40.96.164 is refusing my connection, i'll try again in about an hour

It's Face at the moment.

I was just on 8.9.6.211

and the reason connection refused for the other server was because the slots were full.

8.9.6.211

wtf ip. is ut99 free, "free", or do I need to buy it? (I'll be damned to find a place that would sell it other than online)

We pressed on. Shortly afterwards, we arrived in a poisonous, post-apocalyptic hell - a sprawling, toxic dumping ground stretching for a mile or two. This is the final resting place for your old TV, computer or mobile phone.

"free"
You can probably find a good torrent package.  Try to get something with an iso of the CD and all of the bonus and update packages.  Oh, also, somebody put the sniperwolf model and skins on those servers plz, as well as the solid snake model and all of the good legomen that you find, because those skins and models are seriously the shit :frostyangel:

edit: i'm done for the night.  that 1x1 was fun

While on the topic, we need to get more people playing the Quake 3 Arena demo, because I need more railgun fodder.

Yeah well it's a real game, that I'd have to take the effort to pirate. Q3A is essentially the same gameplay, for no money.

Not really...Q3A plays far different from UT.  Also, Q3A demo? D:  Needs moar full version.

UT's game types are also far more interesting and the ability to use mutators to extend the game in small ways is a breath of fresh air.

wtf ip. is ut99 free, "free", or do I need to buy it? (I'll be damned to find a place that would sell it other than online)

It's commercial but the latest version has no copy protection to speak of.  Unlike Q3A retail, CD key protection isn't employed.
