Actually, everyone is just getting some nasty cold. I was one of the really fortunate ones and got it the week where we have a rather complex sketchbook assignment... meaning, a bit more complex than usual.

What do you draw? like pencil and paper draw or some sort of 3D animated thing. Also my whole family is sick. :(

Just went out to dinner with all of the immediate family, like 15 people or so. It was pretty fun, I feel really good about life in general right now.

Glad to hear, if my grandma/pa (well, when really) died it would take a while for me to get over it.

Glad to hear that things are improving, Tim.

Also, I'm sorry for your loss.  My grandma died a few years ago and...it was kind of weird for a while.

I'm absolutely effin ADDICTED to mezmerize/hypnotize. Definitely the best double album I've ever heard.

I've been on a SoaD kick lately, those two albums in particular.  They are quite good.

For my current state of mind, let's just say that on my way back to Maryland from Ohio I flipped between The Flashbulb, System of a Down, and Rick Astley.

I love it when its not busy at work. I sit around all day, do nothing, and get paid.
Speaking of getting paid, I'm DEFINATELY working Thanksgiving day, just cause i'll be getting 25$/hr and i'm gonna work 12 Hours+ that day too :D
Rack in 300-400$ that day.

I started a high-level math discussion in #Rubik when I told them the story about my calc exam.

I love that channel.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

I just played the most epic game of capture the flag evar, between my dorm and another one. It was crazy, there were like a hundred people out there.

I've decided to take up parkour.

And so the weeks of training begin. I really have to work on my arm strength, my legs are pretty good for now.

Today was my first "try" at it... Alycia and I went to a nearby school yard and practiced some rolls and climbing a pole. I did one or two shitty 180 vaults off a random metal rack that was sitting in the middle of nowhere, but thats about it. Alycia is better than I am at rolls already  :P. After a tiny bit of messing around we ran home.

Its a great way to be physically active, and its alot of fun too. I'm keeping a journal of it, making an entry every time I try something or screw around or whatever. I might bring a camera next time so we can tape eachother and learn that way.

Awesome, and I agree with spec. Parkour does not get the recognition it deserves yet.

Here's a cool vid:
