Yeah, that was my thinking.

So Smash Bros Brawl was pushed back to February 10th. While everyone else is crying, I now look forward to more face time with all the great games coming out this Christmas. Might even need my GameFly account back.

Also, I should have a car soon. My old Escort kinda....died. The floor rotted out, gas line leaks, battery's dead, some other stuff. It's not worth paying the money to get the parts for it. Instead, my brother is apparently getting a new car and would be willing to sell me his old 2000 Neon for $300. I think I'll take that yes.

Wow, good deal!  How many miles?

Meh, I only have a Wii, but If I get my new PC and then set it up I'll be on orange box forever.

Yeah, ditto. Most days I drive my mom's 2006 Impala to school, which conveniently has a Mary Kay sticker on the back, which makes me feel trendy 8)

Also, I just got back from band practice, which really kinda blew. And my ex was REALLY short with me today (even though I bought her chinese >_>). I'm just going to avoid her for a good few days until she calms down because christ, she's unpleasant around me right now. She's her normal happy self with everyone else, but of course whenever she sees me she's reminded of what she did and gets really mad at herself, and takes it out on me.

Practice blew for a variety of reasons. My friend slapped me really hard (granted, I did hit him first, but at least he deserved it) and it was really unorganized, which translated to us not getting anything done. It was also very painful to use my knee, which I had to do a lot.

Sorry for the ranting but I really needed to. Also, good news, my parents gave me $100 for good grades/the Jacksonville trip we're (marching band) going on tomorrow.

ps be back like Sunday

Well, my dad has a 2004 Grand Prix, and my mom has a 2006 Grand Am GT, I believe. She has a MP3-CD capable player, but only holds 1 CD, and doesn't have as nice a sound system in car as my dads, which is a 6 CD changer with monsoon subs in the back. My mom hates anything but the crappy commercial rock the radio plays, but my dad will let us listen to anything. Plus, he has the bass cranked. He used to play bass in a local band for a while, so he liked to be able to hear the basslines in his music. My mom's car has the usual smiley face setting for the EQ, but it's one of those default settings that blows, period.

I got my ACT score back today. I got a 27. I was hoping for at least 30.

The form I got also included my GPA, which is a lot higher than I thought. I mean, I figured because of my general lack of effort my GPA would be 3.0 at best, but apparently it's a 3.5, or 3.36 unweighted. Weird.

I guess getting into a college I want to go to is going to be a lot easier than I thought.

You people and your weird standardized testing, and GPAs and such. Here we do everything in %. Your average is all your classes for that semester averaged. Your overall final score is usually split like this: 70% of your final mark is your daily stuff, tests and such. 15% is a special project, and 15% is your final test. Of course, some classes don't have a project, and change it to 70% course work, 30% final.

Until you do the final, all the marks they send home are out of the 70%, so if you have a 50, that's 50% of the 70% final. You use that to figure out what you need to get on the final to pass. That system is kinda weird, but at least you don't have 25bllion standardized tests with all sorts of acronyms.
This is going in my sig. :)

I might be getting a job at the bowling alley, which is good thing because the girl at the front desk is hot.

This is a completely valid reason to get a job.
