Also, today was another amazing day. And tomorrow is the last day of school before we get the week off for Thanksgiving. I have, I think, two tests tomorrow, both of which I'm not worried about. So tomorrow should be relatively smooth sailing until the break begins. Woo.

Also also, Galaxy is amazing. I've been playing it every chance I've gotten since I picked it up last night (which is, uh, two.) and I have like 9 stars so far. Digging the originality, hard to find an original game these days.

Even if you can't get software to utilize them all, can't you set certain things to run on each separate core?

Sure.  Any multithreaded application that utilizes more than two threads (i.e. processes multiple things simultaneously) will happily use the other cores.  Also, as Bobbias said, the operating system will automatically push certain applications toward certain CPUs.  Windows/LUNICKZ/whatever do what they can to fully utilize whatever processing power you have available.

Crysis seems to kick my system's ass, and I have a quad-core. And an 8800GTS ;_;

I can't even play the entire game on high, I was getting fps hits at several spots. Very high just makes me cry.

Fuck, anyone that says they can easily take on 2 level 9s in smash with life stock is a fucking liar. I just did like 7 timed matches and won 3 of them  . Tho I haven't played for about a month. Also God Hand just got retarded hard. I got to the part in the floating pyramid and those waves of enemies attack you with no health items =/= fun.
