how much do vent servers run for now a days? 

when i get off my lazy ass and attempt to get people to play vidya, i might want to get a vent server running.  why?  voice chat > text chat.  when i am playing vidya with other persons over the internet, i enjoy talking.  typing while playing just aint cut it no mo.

make it my own private vent/spektur vent or something like that.  maby 10 person, 20 person if people catch on and i find more use for it.

As a pre-req for playing, say L4D2, I would make every one have a mic or a mic head set for better communication.
