It helps though.  Also having the captions is the way to win as well.

Yeah, NeoTokyo or L4D (moreso Neotokyo, the whole ghost thing is the definition of teamwork) without a mic is like boxing with one glove.

Yeah pretty much...tf2 you can get away with but those two and L4D2 you need one.

yeah i have my madcatz stick, but making your own, kind of sounds like fun.  plus like, ill make it both ps3 and 360 compatable, so like if i run into a situation where i am playing on a tripple, ill be good to go.

If you want to get something into the venue, a good idea is putting things in tiny bags and putting them in your socks, or wrapping them in foil. At least in my experience, I've never had to remove socks :s

Taping them to the back of your nuts works, too.
