I saw that feature mentioned on Cnet news. I'd be inclined to trust them, though it does seem pretty amazing. I do definitely think it is possible. It just takes a couple really fucking complex algorithms. I've gotta give some major props to whoever worked those out.

One of my AIM names (of which I have several) arbitrarily stopped working a few days ago, saying I had a bad name or password. I just today tried to do a "forgot your password". You can enter either your name, or an email address, and then a Captcha. Entering my screen name says "We're sorry. We do not have enough information to reset your password. If you are unable to remember it you will need to create a new Username.". Entering my old email address says that it's sending a password reset link to an "alternate email address", of which I do not know. What the fuck? My password worked fine last week, and it's the same password I use for my other AIM accounts. It's not as though I NEED this account, but this was my first AIM account, and I'd really rather have it back.

I swear I've had this happen to my facebook account a while back, no idea why tho. I typed in my password past the point were human error could effect it and it still would say it was wrong.

Bad: My parents are completely and utterly incompetent with money and bills and as a result, BG&E cut off our power and won't turn it on until we give them at least $3900. No, that's not a typo. Fridge/modem and router/few other things are running on generator power right now, laptop's running on batteries. Fuck. This. Shit. I'm calling my cousin tomorrow and seeing if I can crash on his couch.
