I'd want to hire younger guys too if the job required lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted fairly regularly. You can't count on a 45-50 year old man being able to do that for too long. I know I sure as hell could do that all day long. I love physical labor (as weird as that sounds). My favorite job that I've had so far was when I worked at the MN State Fair and I had 12 12 hour days in a row. That sort of physical/personal challenge is something I relish.

Right and my dad does morning frieght at home depot and has to down stock some items that weigh any where between 150-200lbs...fuck 1/2" 4x12 dry wall.

I was just playing AvP 2000, it crashed, and now my computer has no sound. Help.

NEVERMIND, evidently it forced some random volume control all the way down.

Also I've finally been assed into changing all my windows default sounds.

I'm bad, but not terrible, at driving the manual transmission car my roommate ended up buying. (He's had it for a week, and he's not that much better.) The main problem with it is trying to get into first gear smoothly and quickly, and practicing on a hill didn't help, but I'm pretty sure I'll have it more-or-less down by the end of the week.

Yeah shifting from 1st to 2nd is the hardest shift on a manual transmission...after that everything is a cake walk.   The best advice I can tell you is when you let go of the clutch start hitting the gas.  However timing is the key.

Heh, yeah. I stalled it about ten times in 10 minutes by letting the clutch out too quickly, and squealed the tires once when I gave it too much gas, before I got somewhat used to it. Then again, he's done all of that while actually driving - including stall-start-repeat through an entire green light with people behind us -  so I'm not too fussed.

All in all, he's had the car for a week, so we're both still learning how to use it, but I taught him how to downshift smoothly and I've been anticipating this for a while, so I'm aiming to be better at it by Saturday.

The car's got 247k miles on it and it's still running great. I'm pretty sure it'll even out once we get the hang of it.

Well, clutches are pretty easy to wreck, but also last a long time if treated properly.

question,

if I install a modchip or homebrew firmware on a 360 for the purpose of playing region-locked games, and only played legitimate copies, whether NTSC-U or NTSC-J, would I get banned from Live?  I'm not sure if they ban you for the act of modding you console or for playing illegitimate copies of games.  I assume they would ban me for having a modded console, so is there any way to get around this?

I have no idea. I would assume they'd ban you for having a mod chip, since that essentially breaks any agreements you have with them (somewhere buried in a license you agreed not to modify it) and they do NOT want people installing mod chips for any reason.

There is now no possible way to have a modded/hacked 360 online. They have yet to re-crack that so that it doesn't get flagged.
