The router doesn't have to be made aware of a static IP at any point.  If all of the devices on the network are plugged in on the switch side no routing is done.

Setting the subnet mask to 255.255.0.0 is invalid since 192.x.x.x is a class C address.  Class A addresses (first octet being 1-127) uses 255.0.0.0, class B addresses (first octet being 128-191) use 255.255.0.0, and class C (192-223) uses 255.255.255.0.  Subnets are used from there to further segment the network.

I just LOVE going through a bunch of crap to ascertain that I make it to a job interview in time (re-arranging my piano lessons, getting a ride home from my dad when he was working over an hour away, and then hitching onto another bus) only to find out that the only person who can tell me whether I've actually got a job or not isn't even in the store.  >_<

I pretty much saw it coming though. 

So now I get to wait until the end of the week.  Whoo.

It's a minor annoyance, but I hate achievement whores as far as games are concerned. My friend beat Resident Evil and he's grinding (grinding, in resident evil?) the levels for more money so he can upgrade all his guns. So, I noticed he had enough money to buy a mini gun and I suggested he should, because it's a mini gun. He says no because he wants to upgrade his guns to get an achievement first, he's literally not having fun and grinding in a game JUST to get an achievement that means nothing.
