Aside from standing in line for quite some time to register/enter the convention, Otakon was quite awesome.  As was just this entire weekend in general.  :3

And times shall continue to be awesome, as the party continues today/tonight at Vyhd's place!  ^_^

And tomorrow!  Oh yes, tomorrow!  A small horde of people shall meet to place enchantments on an ITG2 machine.  <3

Well not going back to college this semester because my finical aid got "lost" because a new system YSU put in that hasn't been full tested and they just did this with in the last 6 months.

Yes I did go to the Finical Aid office and they told me just to go online.

*sighs*

According to some others I talk to some of their loans haven't even processed yet...with the old system it maybe took a week or so.

OTAKOOOOOOOOOONNN.

Yes!  That's where we were all weekend!  ^_^

I met another Quailman there.  I was quite surprised.  As was he.  :3

We started to fight, giving each other the Quail-eye and all, but we eventually decided that it was best to talk through our problems and to solve them without silly violence.

That blows four or five dicks.

I got $200 worth of nickels and $50 in half dollars from Bank of America today.

Within the first few rolls of nickels I found two buffaloes. Metal! I have GODLY LUCK.

Woo, I got stuff without spending much moneys.

First off, I traded in a TON OF SHIT that I wasn't using at GameStop and wound up with $130 (edit) $172 worth of trade-in credit.  I bought a used copy of Mass Effect (which automagically got me a GameStop card slash magazine subscription renewal) and a wireless Cock Band guitar, leaving me with $65.

Next, I traded in my Xbox 360 racing wheel to a small game store in Aliquippa, PA, called the Gamemaster's Realm.  I only got $35 of store credit from it, but that's okay since nobody else takes racing wheels.  Anyhoo, I started putting the next part of my Master Plan(TM) into play by purchasing Guitar Hero 3 from them.  I also bought a copy of Sonic & Knuckles -- since I wasn't able to find it at any other place up until that point -- and picked up a second PC->GameBoy cable (it comes with the GB/GBC GameShark yet I've never actually used it with my GameShark...kekeke I'm awesome).

Then, I went back to GameStop and bought an Xbox 360 Guitar Hero guitar and a copy of Guitar Hero 2 -- both used -- for $62.  FUCK YEAH.

Long story short: I traded in a whole bunch of shit that I'm not going to miss, wound up replacing my second shitty Rock Band guitar with a new wireless one, got rid of the awful first-generation Guitar Hero PS2 controller I had (that was part of my first trade-in set, along with GH1 and GH2), effectively switched my Guitar Hero stuff over from PS2 to Xbox 360, and picked up Guitar Hero 3 at the same time.

Damn, that wasn't short at all.  OH WELL.

Pardon my hyperness, I'm coming down from a Monster and a 1L bottle of Vault.  YAY.

Edit: Interesting note: Guitar Hero 1 for PS2 nets you $9.  Guitar Hero 2 for PS2 only gets you $8.  Interesting.

For some reason I much prefer playing GH on the wired PS2 controllers.

I liked GH3 way more than the first two and all the little spin-offs.

I bought it for TTFAF and One, primarily.

The other songs seem pretty cool, too. :P

Yeah, I liked the setlist in 3. I also liked the set list in 2, but 1's was kind lacking (it had a couple cool songs, but the lack of real challenge made it pretty useless to me). Rocks the 80's had some pretty wicked songs. However, I'm planning on never playing the Aerosmith one. Why didn't they pick a better band. I'm happy they are making Metallica, since they have a lot of songs worth playing, but Aerosmith only has a couple good songs.
This is going in my sig. :)

The Aerosmith one is less challenging than GH1 was. Really, I only played to the 5th tier, but all of the charts so far have been easy enough to be first or second.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

Well, it's not like Aerosmith has the greatest guitar work in their music.

I got my somewhat-sucky "new" TV to be quite tolerable.  Whoo!

The sound could still be better, but it's more than enough until I can afford/acquire some spiffy speakers to hook up to it.  And as I'm told (and kinda figured myself anyways) the picture for my ps2 will get a lot better once I can obtain an S-video cable.  :P

Money money money.  Oh well.

But hey, at least I can didder/groooove at home again.  <333

I recently started drinking this stuff. Specifically, the Elderflower Presse, and the Elderflower & Pomegranate Presse. This stuff is amazing.
