Bobbias, you also have to remember that Ontario is one of the few places that has a graduating drivers license, thus compared to places to don't, you would have a full license.

I'm 22.  I've just never been terribly interested in driving until a week or two ago.  I'm still fairly content taking the bus to many places.  But the local port authority is proposing massive changes to pretty much all of the service lines, and mine will no longer be as super-awesomely-convenient to me like it is now.  (Right now, there are three buses that stop within 30 feet of my driveway.  By next year, the closest any of them will get to me is a bit over half a mile. While that's still not terribly far, it's all uphill, which sucks when I'm really tired after class.  haha.)

Also, when I leave my current college and transfer to a university, my options will increase significantly if I can drive.  As well as job options.  :3

Not in Pennsylvania. 

But, considering my age, I can go get my license tomorrow if I felt inclined to do so. 

Actually, I don't think I can.  I don't think the DMV is open tomorrow.  haha.

In Canada, we have the graduated license, which means we MUST get a G1 first (bunch of restrictions, majors being absolutely 0 alcohol, and being required to have someone with at least 4 years driving experience) then a G2 (can drive alone, still 0 alcohol) then you can try for your G. To get the G2 and G, you need to take a driving test, but to get your G1, you just do a small written test.

Still don't have my G2. I've had to rebook the bitch like 8 times. Had my G1 for a year and a half now too, ugh...

Lol, I'm a miracle worker, I got my G2 hung over as fuck from a friend's birthday party the night before
Mind you, I went to Orillia for mine, because it's likely the easiest place to take your test around here.
