Dammit, figures that after almost three months of being "caffeine lite"* (i.e. one 20-24oz caffeinated drink per week; a major cutback) Monster would have to go ahead and release a good new flavor.

If they have it at Sheetz I might wind up making that my caffeinated beverage of the week.

*It's pretty awesome.  After going without a whole lot of caffeine even Red Bull has a ton of kick to it.

Lol, yeah, anyone with low caffeine intake REALLY feels a lot when they drink an energy drink, lol. Man, I had a starbucks Venti sized Bold Pick of the Day coffee a while back, and those things have a LOT of caffeine. I haven't had the money to drink energy drinks lately, but I still drink coke all the time, so it's not like I've got no caffeine intake, but that was unbelievable. It apparently has about 400 mg of caffeine in it.... I was on the verge of having the shakes, lol. Coming from someone used to drinking energy drinks and pretty much not feeling a thing, that was a VERY big surprise.

generally i don't feel anything when i drink one.  i mean, i generally drink soda like squirt (caffeine free soda) and well, yeah.  unless im just "used" to the stuff.  i drank that 12oz monster and shortly after, the 24 oz standard monster, and i was just fine. 

but maby it contributed to my playing of shadow complex until 7am (i generally get to sleep around 6...but 3 days off in a row kind of fucked up the sleep pattern so i blame that over the monsters)

though one time i drank one when i clocked in at work in the morning.  i got really fucking tired half way through my shift, so i was laying on a table in the back spouting noncoherant babble.  2 hours sleep + the end of an energy drink + being at work = BAD

WoW: Cataclysm is looking FUCKING BRILLIANT right now, and its web site is pretty badass.  Seriously, it's rare that I get this excited over a game...I can't wait to buy that shit up when it hits the shelves.  I'm definitely going to pre-order it, no doubt about it.

Also, I've found that after cutting back on my caffeine I can stay up later and not feel as many nasty effects the next day as I would if I were caffeinated (i.e. completely crashing the next morning).  Drinking caffeine is kind of self-defeating when you think about it.  It's a shame that so many awesome drinks (like Dr. Pepper, Vault, and motherfucking iced mochas...mmm...) have it.

tried the anti gravity flavor today.

i don't like it as much as super dry, but it's still damn tastey.  which is saying something since i can count the amount of good tasting energy drinks almost on one hand, and ive tried A LOT of different energy drinks.
