Today has been a good day. I was stressed about me being behind in class when I'm not really that far back, and NOW I have a ton of work to do in a book I didn't even have that JUST arrive stupidly late today. and the book came with candy, which was the best surprise I've had in a while.

I didn't even mean to trip. I've had a constant annoying cough due to a bronchial infection something-or-other, and my stepdad noticed and told me to 'finish the bottle' of robitussin we had around. probably 2x and change more than the 'recommended' dosage.  About 30/45 mins later, I felt like I do when I'm buzzed with alcohol. Nothing extreme or noticeable visual affects.  Then, since my mom was still concerned about my cough I asked her to get some Delsym for me (12hr Polistirex 5 oz bottle.) I took 2 FULL caps of this, which would equate to 40mL. In terms of DXM HBr, this is equal to 240mg. About an hour or 2 later as i was laying down I began my unintentional trip! haha. It was pretty neato. I only noticed feeling fuzzy and soft when someone texted me and i reached for my phone, my hand had motion blur trails following it. I was also able to focus on corners of my room and distort the room slightly by unfocusing my periferal(?) vision. I went to sleep after exploring some minor CEV's, and woke up not being able to walk so correctly. I had this weird afterglow of being stoned for the time Delsym actually prescribes on the bottle (12hrs). My high wore off around 730/8, 12 hours after I injested the delsym shots.

I knew people chugged robo to get high, I just never looked into it.  I love dissociative effects, it's totally my bag. I spent my day at work researching DXM on different forums (including erowid). I think I'll try it again soon.

Haha, yeah, DXM is awesome. If you haven't read it, read the DXM FAQ. (found all over the place). I drank a whole bottle of robo once, in a short period, but didn't get all that high. I did get some effects, but mostly the dissociative effects, rather than any of the other cool crap, like CEVs and visual distortion and crap. I was kinda disappointed... But it was still fun.

That reminds me, I need to try that again sometime.

Yea that's the first thing I read, and reread it throughout the day, viewing some trip reports, etc. There is a huge difference between Robo and Delsym's version of DXM. I think I touched the 1st plateau, maybe a tiny bit past that. my 'recommended' dose for my body is somewhat around 320mg of DXM HBr

My college rescheduled the Homecoming gala that was supposed to occur last Saturday, but wound up not due to Snowpocalypse. 

They first re-set it for March 6th.  Date sucks because I'm going to be in Buffalo for a bowling tournament. 

"What fun is being in the homecoming court if you can't even make it to the event?"  D:  is essentially what I said to the coordinators. 

They're so nice.  They actually changed the date again so I could be there.  <3  Of course, it helped that I made my case before they had made any announcements, printed flyers, etc. 

But still.  <3  Yay.
