1) The gems suck, yes, but I practically got them for free, so I figured I'd throw them in to get a little bit of a boost.  I need to get my guild JC to cut me some better shit after I manage to get the gems themselves.

2) WUTS AN ENCHANT LOL.  But seriously, see above, except replace JC with chanter.  I should probably just spam trade.

3) I actually have the latter meta.  I'm waiting until I actually get my T9 helm, though; don't want to waste it on something I'm not going to keep for long.

4) Coolies...I'll have to check it out.  I've mainly been just experimenting.

5) /cry. I know. :(

so like i started dicking around yesterday on the 72 paladin...as you can see i am level 74, in a few hours of casual questing.  i have been enjoying my free 7 days.

this was taken months back and i figured it was silly so here you go.  im just going to state the shirt i have is the starting shirt from a troll shaman, best shirt in the game.

Just bought dual specialization with my priest, so now he's holy/shadow.

And holy fuck, shadow is so much easier to solo with.  I'm not even optimized for damage output (my entire set is designed for healing) but I can still do up to 800dps at level 75 with very little effort.  Getting to level 80 might not be so bad now!

Are you really surprised?

Not that much, I guess, but not having to heal after every other fight is an amazing feeling.

The main reason I got to level 75 as holy is because I was joined by the hip to a warrior.  Talk about a perfect combination.  When the warrior got to Northrend, though, I wound up helping him level using my DK, so my priest kinda got left behind.

this was taken in 2004

and this in uhh, summerish 2007.

my baby has grown up, though, not to 80, not even 71, just 70.  i keep thinking about playing again before the expansion comes out, but with nobody to play with, and a good amount of games available to me right now, i keep passing it up.  i would like to level the paladin to 80, and transfer the shaman off ye ole pvp server and level him to 80 in peace.

thinking about this, most of my playing of the game was done in 2005 to early summer 2006 when i slowed down with the game and stopped 40man raiding.  everything else save for the first three weeks of tbc was pretty casual play.

Goddamn. I so want to play Cataclysm.

I'm stuck playing on private servers for now, though. I'm gonna be broke when Cataclysm comes out (most likely anyway), so that's likely not gonna change. Guess I'll have to wait till private servers support it, however long that takes.
This is going in my sig. :)

re-uploaded

person who uploaded the original did so a long time ago, and youtube has gotten better since then so i uploaded it for better quality.

the original uploader can't re-upload the video himself since he died two years ago.

plus better quality = YOU CAN SEE ME...somewhat...barely...BUT AT ALL!

WoW is an interesting game.  ive seen a lot of crazy shit in vanilla (3 man onyxia, solo EVERYTHING in brd comes to mind), this would probably be up there.  people have soloed 25 man bosses before (im pretty sure i remember a lock soloing a 25 man ssc boss in tbc), and this is another one.  though, a bit more significant because i was pretty into the game when vanilla naxx was out and seeing the first patchwerk kill...only for a new version to come out and an 80 rogue to solo 25 man patchwerk.  albiet naxx ain't the "only 5 guilds can pass this content" endgame instance it once was, it's pretty impressive.
