The timing's pretty loose, actually (it's about judge 4, greats or better for a hit).  Adjust your global offset in the INI file (yet another SM3.9 limitation -- no included global offset editor).

I'll have to ask AJ if this would be possible to implement in MGD3 or not...

i guess that maybe my wireless keyboard could have a delay and maybe my pads are broken, but i remember i had trouble with jumps because they wouldn't fucking register

Yeah, no problems here...

Wireless keyboards definitely have a bit of an extra delay, too.  Adapters for pads and such do, too -- my offset was fine when I was using my keyboard but was very off when I plugged my pad in.

That is the obvious exception. Also, why couldn't they use the original version of that song, since Capitan Jack's cover is so terrible...

Might have something to do with, y'know, Captain Jack's version being very easy to sync...

Bleh, if someone can synch classical music, I'm sure the original isn't all that hard to synch...

Don't say "I'm sure it isn't hard" unless you've done it.

It's not hard, per se, but it's really bloody tedious.

That, I can understand, though that DDream studio or whatever the hell it's called would likely make things a botload easier.

As I said before, it inserts a bucketload of BPM changes all over the place, requiring extensive cleanup before the file can be practically used.

Lol, well, at least I'm a CMod user, so that wouldn't bug me, aside from noticing the slight speed changes in the health bar animation speed, lol.

But it would likely make timing rock and classical music and such easier.

man, playing on foam pad hurts waaaay more than playing on piu arcade. in the arcades, there's very, very little pressure needed to activate a sensor, whereas in ignitions it's like STOMP THAT PAD MOTHERFUCKER and it destroys my ankles. seriously, fuego hard hurts waaaaaaay more than turkey march crazy (
). i've gotten an s on that damn song, too, so i should be able to do this easy.

anyone with some... whatever the hell the current fancy metal pads are (bluesharks? cfs? afterburners?) that work fine and need to be sold? because i'll pay like $100 for one

I need money, and then I can get something better than my shithole soft pad (not foam, soft... and practically useless, at that). I swear to god, when I have a job and money, I'm going to save up and oder a fucking DDR cabinet, or maybe a PIU. Either way, I'm going to get a fucking arcade machine, because they are just so much better than playing on just about any home setup you can put together.
