I want to check out Genshiken, but I have no way to get it.

I tend to like the "slice of life" type of anime/manga like Lucky Star and Azumanga Daioh.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}

I just watched the first 4 episodes of Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni. It's pretty good.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}

I like Slice of Life anime, as well as action/romance ones like Zero no Tsukaima/Sola and such.

Part of Dennou Coil is that it combines serious issues with a somewhat lighthearted anime overall. The ending is very serious, but most of the series is pretty light hearted.

And yeah, some of the themes it explores are (spoilered in case you think it might wreck some of it)

-Letting go of the past
-Growing up
-Finding your own path in life
-People are connected, however thin that connection may be
-Dealing with loss and pain
This is going in my sig. :)

I'm also 10 episodes into School Days. Makoto's so far had sex with 3 different girls, 2 of which he had sex with multiple times, none of which were his actual girlfriend.

EDIT: I just finished School days. God damn that was a fucked up ending.

EDIT2: Still haven't seen all of GitS:SAC, so I'm watching that all now.

That's the second season right? I never understood why adult swim stopped showing either of them.

It's the TV series. SAC 2nd gig is the second season. Ghost in the Shell was a movie.

I never understood why they stopped airing it either, it's a damn good show.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}

FUCEN BAMP.

I'm re-watching Trigun, I really forgot how awesome this series is (and how depressing it gets near the end, also Wolfwood's death was horrible, jesus christ). Also I don't understand the hype for cromartie high school, I just didn't find it funny most of the time. Also for some reason Adult swim has Shin Chan, Fooly Cooly, Ghost in a shell STC, Cowboy Bebop, and Big O. I fucking hope they stick with this for at least a while.

and on another note, Jo Jo's bizarre adventure looks dumb, but in a good way, should I bother with it?

Agreed. I really enjoyed it. However, I haven't seen the second season either, but hopefully it didn't go downhill like the second season of Zero No Tsukaima did (they are made by basically the same people, but there were some staff changes on the ZnT writers and director for the second season).
This is going in my sig. :)
