I've never understood why people liked that show. The quirks in the characters are so ridiculous it's downright stupid.

I'll admit I like some of the ideas in it, but there's so much crap in there.

I've watched the first episode, and part of one of the much later ones, and I can't say I enjoyed it much in either episode. :/

Funny how most people I know like the show to start with, then one it gets into it they lose interest.

Also I fucking love the opening theme of Serial Experiments Lain.



I'm almost done with the show, but it gives me a really depressed feeling so I'm kind of slow watching it.

Alright then, so far Hellsing is fairly corny and rather cliche but watchable somehow. Also someone reminded me of Blue Gender, and I have to watch a few episodes of that now.

I started watching Planetes a few days ago.

Why is this series so obscure? It's probably the best series I've ever seen. Ever. It's incredible.

I really enjoyed 5 Centimeters Per Second. I haven't seen The Girl Who Leapt Through Time yet though. My girlfriend has been really trying to get me to see it though, lol.

You see? The ending is seriously the most heartwarming thing ever.

Honestly, it's probably because the show really isn't very flashy at all, nor does it have a standard plot of any kind.

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is REALLY good too. I watched that with some friends as soon as it had fansubs for it. Amazing movie.

Mort, make sure you see the OVAs of Hellsing. Hella better than the series.

Also I kinda stopped watchin' anime after Xam'd. I just can't get into it like I used to be.
