I have a summer job at the gas station down my street. I have training tomorrow (which I get paid for, chuss) and then I'm going to get my first shift this week. All my shifts are going to be either 3 pm - 11 pm or 11 pm - 7 am. There's also a possibility I'll get double shifted, which means 16 hours of straight work. I'm going to blow my fucking brains out.
At the same time, I haven't been this happy in a long time. I've finally found a girl that I really care for, and she reciprocates the feelings. She's finally told me she loves me, and I feel really good about things. We're hoping to see each other over the summer, but if we can't, I have to wait until August when we're back at college to see her again. :<
Oh, and as an aside that doesn't even belong in the same league as that last statement, I've been playing Warriors Orochi almost exclusively for the past 2 weeks. Fuck Persona 3, Warriors Orochi is where it's at. It's basically a crossover of the Dynasty and Samurai Warriors series with an original storyline and there's so much shit to do. Unlocking characters and stages, maxing characters, getting 4th weapons, getting personal items. The awesome part is that Koei just announced that the sequel which is already out in Japan is getting a US release, and since everyone who's already played it agreed it's better in so many ways, I can't fucking wait.
Oh, and in Buffalo we have this thing called Thursday At The Square, which other than the food is the only redeeming quality about this area, where every Thursday in the summer bands play for free, and this year's lineup totally blows. Last year I got to see Violent Femmes, one of my favorite bands, which was awesome, but this year nobody interests me. And to top things off, my friend is dragging me to an emo concert sometime next week which I really don't want to go to. Oh, and Buckethead is coming to a place like 5 minutes from my house on July 28th, but I'm not sure if it's going to be 21+ so I might not be able to go.
Final thing: I've really wanted to build something for a while now. I was looking up LEGO shit for like 2 hours last night but eventually decided that it was too expensive (I only wanted the 1000+ piece sets and those all set you back like $150 or more [Millenium Falcon = 5000 pieces = biggest set = $500). I guess I could go to KNEX which are cheaper, but I'm not sure. I had this awesome training facility thing from them when I was younger but that shit starts to hurt your hands. I think I might go out later this week to like Toys R Us or a local hobby shop and look for model cars. I've never liked painting but I figure I'll give it a shot now because I really want something that can waste some time and I can have fun doing it.
Long message is long.
