Alright, so my bedroom right now is an unfinished basement room. I got a new bookshelf this weekend and set it up next to a dresser. The corner looks like this:
Now, there's about a foot of space between those ceiling tiles and the wall, and my cat likes exploring. So when he discovered that he could get all the way on top of the bookshelf, he decided to check out the ceiling tiles. This was fine and dandy until he accidentally knocked one of the tiles down while he was trying to get onto it. The tile he knocked down was his only way back to the bookshelf, and he wasn't about to jump 7 feet down, so he just sat down, anxiously looking for a way back to the bookshelf. I put the tile back, but he didn't trust it anymore.
I realized he needed help, but I couldn't reach him where he was. I had to herd him into a more open space. I tried using a stick, but that didn't work too well. I remember using water to herd him once, but we're indoors. I needed to think of a fluid I could use indoors that he wouldn't like.
So I loaded a bowl. I blew some smoke where I didn't want him to be, and he fled to a more open space, where I grabbed him and set him down on the floor.
Now we're both high and he's sitting on my lap while I type this.
