My friend's ex-girlfriend has started texting me. A lot. And it's always the same thing:
"Hey whats up?"
"Nothing/Not much"
"Thats cool lol"
Sometimes it goes on for a few more texts, but I have yet to have a real conversation with her.
He told me that's her method of flirting and that I should just ignore them, so I did. I don't like this girl, and she's always weirded me out. She seemed like she'd be pretty clingy when I first met her, but it also bothered me that she never really had anything to say and didn't seem too smart. She was especially clingy towards me, but she ended up dating my friend after he asked her out (most likely because me and this friend have very similar interests and personalities, but he's never so sure of his first impressions). After a few months of dating, she dumped him. Around this time she started texting me, but it was only once or twice every 2 weeks. It got progressively more frequently until it happened twice in the same day, at this point I decided to stop responding. I haven't gotten any messages from her in the past 2 days, and it feels pretty relieving.
Since going to college, I haven't really felt attracted to anyone for some reason. I thought it was because the girls around here suck, but when I went home and hung out with one girl who I liked for pretty much my entire senior year and had felt at least some mild attraction for since we'd met, I felt nothing towards her either. I have no idea what's up, but it definitely feels better not liking anyone than being on the wrong side of a one-way crush.
