Site titles?!?!?!?

So I've been here for a little bit and I've noticed a few titles/different star systems hanging around such as:

1) Hero Member
2) page like stars
3) giant gold stars
4) regular stars

and I've been wondering how you get those titles because in the one topic ZOMG the first POAST I saw a couple replies stating losing like 900 posts so what is this all really about and what does it take to level up in here....just wondering

New updates for the pack Calamitous Strike posted here in my sig...also no PM's about BG's/BN's yet...I still need art for my songs.

Update: 9/28/08--Added expert difficulties for some songs and a hard difficulty
           9/30/08--Changed reasoning for song pack and added a few songs to Not Started
           10/5/08--Finished AA and have keyboard steps in the second parentheses
           10/14/08--Finished Do It Like We Do and working on a few new ones

For some of us our custom title is given by Spectere for some reason.  Mine was because I donated $20 to sponser "Into the Inferno" by Spe....I mean Bernard DeathRage III.

The stars work according to how many posts one has.

ie 0-50= 1 Star.

Oh...ok cause I was just wondering...I thought he had set up like a system where you could purchase titles using your posts....that sounds like a good idea but it would turn bad so fast...I still can't get over how unbelievably good/bad that chart is.

The things like Hero Member, Sr. Member, etc, as well as the number of stars, are based on post count.

The things like GOLD STRRRZ, Bernard Deathrage Advocate, MungyoMember, etc, are special titles that I assign at my whim for whatever reason.  Pretty much what Omni said, heh.
