Yep, I finally got torrents working, and managed to download and play IIDX gold. This rocks.

Im over the 12 wall for the most part .

Well first I cleared all 11s in Gold except the shadow and Halfway of promise and I AA'd Second Heaven [a].

Now for 12s...:

-Cleared Setsugekka [a] for a 2nd time
-Cleared Vanessa [a] with a C (my 10th 12 )
-Can consistently clear Concertino in blue [a] now and cleared it for the first time nonran (with 90+%)
-Cleared Please don't go [a] (Border clear 11th 12)
-Cleared gigadelic [a] (shocked me since it's like 10x harder than 7k's ending but 12th 12 nonetheless )

Passed that weird Industrial Review song or whatever with the kanji name [H].
Passed Vanessa [N] with a C
Passed The Story Begins [N] with an A

Passed other crap I didn't record, because I'm lazy.

I can play a decent amount of the 8's in Gold without getting completely annihilated.
Also, Scorpion Fire is fucking fun, even to fail on [H] and [A].

Also, fixing my ratio on Sows is going to be a BITCH. I WAS connectible for a while, but now my router is flaking out again and not forwarding the port, like it did earlier (even though it was technically flaking out then, since I never had the port selected to be forwarded in the first place).

Failed those 2 and virtually all the others miserably.

I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna be playing 8's and lower a lot. However, I can consistently pass Vanessa. That track is really damn fun.

Yeah Vanessa is fun on every difficulty except Another where its hard to time.


As for Sows, for now just leave bittorrent running so you get bonus points to trade in for uploaded gigs (75 pts for 1gb uploaded) and use "save the world" every day since it adds 33.3 mb of uploaded data to your ratio and you'll be fine.

Yeah, I'm saving the world daily, and I'm trying to rack up enough points, but since my brother also goes on the computer, and uTorrent kills yahoo live, which he's practically always on, it kinda doesn't get left on much.

DistorteD's revivals are pretty good, but honestly just about as good as Gold's IMO. DD has Sakura, quasar, erasermotorphantom, Schlagwerk, the killer Mei, and more 5k revivals like Gold. You should like it minus era and Presto which were already on BMUS.

What's good about DD is its CS exclusive songs, all of which are ridiculously hard on Another unfortunately.

I like all of those tracks you listed, except erasermotorphantom (which I don't really know). I like the revivals in Gold, but I don't know all of them, so some of them are lost on me. Also, I'm beginning to hate the notecharts for 19, november and 20, november. I tend to get my ass kicked painfully by no. 13 and kakumei on any other difficulty than normal. That doesn't leave much in the ways of playable revival charts.

I need more tracks in the midrange difficulty. I've noticed Gold's tracklist kinda lacks a bit in the 5 6 and 7 difficulty area, which is more or less where I'm best right now. I can play the easier 8's, but most 8's are a bit too much for me. I'm definitely getting better (slowly) though.
