How do I convert files to img? I need to convert a bin file to img because img seems to work best on my ps1 emu.

And im posting in big letters so this doesn't get looked over because google didnt help at all .

I haven't really seen any freeware/FOSS software to convert bins to imgs after a quick search, but I did find something that converts bin to ISO, which your emulator (which I'm sure you're only using to play your own PSX games ) might like better:

It's a command line utility but you might be able to get away with just dragging the BIN file on top of it (since it doesn't require a second parameter) if you don't want to get your hands dirty.

I have magicISO for that, but the iso didnt run at all and on bins it plays only the sound effects but no music or VOs.

It runs fine, just the lack of music bothers me.

And i'm using ePSXe.

Meh, I was thinking of getting a 360, but considering most of it's titles are multiplatform, and even some of it's biggest "exclusives" are going to PC, (Gears of war, eventually halo 3) I haven't seen the point. I guess I'll keep waiting for shit to change or for the PS tripple to get a price drop.

Actually, I don't even know. It's my grandma's old car, but she didn't use it much so it's in good condition. I do know that it's a Buick though. More details will come when they are revealed to me :x
