as anti weeaboo as i currently am, i am weeaboo for that show, watch it.

Considering Watching Next:
Elfin Lied

Do it, as Timjing (I think...) said, it's a damn good show. I was thinking about re-watching it.

You didn't know this? Damn, also yes, it is also a great show. Has a similar slight sci fi/fantasy feel to it like bebop did.

don't know about you, but having seen the end of elfen lied, i found it to be rather retarded.

the main character is a pussy, as most male lead animu characters are.  and don't even get me started on ah my goddess, shit like that is part of the reason i don't watch animu anymore.

Gah, don't hate. I really enjoyed Ah My Goddess (though I only really watched the OVAs, and movie.)

What makes me not want to watch anime is crap like Naruto. Fuck I hate that show.
This is going in my sig. :)

how can you even stomach ah my goddess (im surprised i didn't get sick when i watched it), the main character is the biggest sissy i have ever seen in a visual form of entertainment.  i raged, hard.  i want those hours back, and im not going to get them back.

and on naturo, when they are fightan, s'allright.  when its anything to do with "story", id rather watch QVC or the home shopping network.

I'm the opposite, I'd rather have some sort of PLOT than ZOMG FIGHT.

See, the way I see anime, it's like taking a book, and making it into a show that is animated. If that book consists of crap like "He swung the sword hard. And it sliced off X enemy's hand. Blood went all over." It becomes crap like Naruto (only Naruo is much gayer, because the characters are incredibly lame, and annoying as fuck). The plot in naruto is all lame angsty crap.

When I want to watch fighting, I'll watch something decent, like boxing, or ultimate fighter, or something (maybe some of that insane wrestling my friend watches, that involves stuff like barbed wire, and thumb tacks.)

Now, when I watch anime, I'll watch something that actually has a plot that doesn't make me sick.
This is going in my sig. :)

How so? He Goes against the cops constantly trying to help out Lucy, he slaps Nana when she attacks Lucy, hell he even says "I will not forgive you" to Lucy at the end. If anything his cousin who constantly trying to fuck him is the weak one, she cries constantly for little to no reason.

Also yes, anmeh can have a decent plot that revolves around action, take samurai champloo for example.

Also also IT'S JUST LIKE SOMETHING OUT OF ONE OF MY JAPANIES ANEMAIS?!?

actually the last episodes were decently done and i didn't mind them too much until the last scene with the clock and the gate and it's like WOW WAY TO COMPLETELY DESTROY THE WHOLE POINT OF THE PREVIOUS TEN MINUTES IN THE EPISODE, FAGGOTS

and after i saw that scene it left the lukewarm aftertaste of balls in my mouth

Yeah, really. You think they will ever finish it? That ending was basically like "tying up loose ends, these people die, LOL LOOK MORE LOOSE ENDS, HEY LOOK AT THIS THING, end".

I was going to use that as an example of an anime with fighting and a not angsty/mentally retarded plot.

Shakugan no Shana has fighting, and a decent plot. Sola seems to have fighting, and a pretty cool plot. Simoun had boatloads of fighting, and an amazing plot (if you can stomach all the voices being done by girls, even for guys).

All of those shows are primarily plot driven, but feature fighting as a main part of the show.

That's the case for most animu, so I'll have to say yes.

Code: [Select]
f(u,c,k,_,y,e,a,h)
{return u*u*u*u-u*u*u*_+u*u*y-u*e+a?k?f(u+1,c,k-1,_,y,e,a,h):0:putchar(u-c+h)==f(u+1,u,k-1,_,y,e,a,h);}
main(){return f(0,0,34,84,2423,26628,72864,98)<putchar(32)>f(0,0,40,125,5809,118995,906750,96)==~putchar(10);}
