Out of sheer curiosity, what do you use to record your calls?
Yeah, they've been denying that they're doing it for a while. I donno what the truth actually is, but whatever. I haven't actually tried torrenting anything for a while.
I checked: the second you try to seed Comcast blasts their clients with RSTs and kills the incoming connections. If I were at home I could show firewall logs but, alas, I'm in Ohio, with my old unhindered SBC DSL.
And yeah, Comcast has been openly denying that they interfere with BitTorrent traffic. I'm not surprised that their tech support doesn't know about it. I'd be a bit more troubled if there wasn't an easy way to get around it (with my current set of firewall rules in place I can freely seed). Even so, they shouldn't be doing it. There are plenty of legitimate uses for BitTorrent and all uncooperative ISPs do is cause Internet servers to have to work harder.
