Niiiiccce. Cool name, too. Also that was your seven-hundred and seventy-seventh post :O

A lucky post for a lucky occurrence! Also yeah I really liked her name. She also had a nice tattoo on left arm from her elbow to her shoulder and a stud in her nose that made her look really cute. And I'll be going back to Best Buy probably this weekend because I have more reward zone coupons to use now hohoho. She probably won't even be there. I should ask if she likes Atreyu because I was thinking of going to their show coming up in November. Or maybe Ratatat in a couple of weeks.

That's just horrifying.

I apparently made a friend at Best Buy today. I went in to buy the final season bluray set of Lost and went up to the checkout and I was wearing my Persona 4 shirt and she looked at it all excited and started talking to me about it and the game and how she just bought the last season of Lost too and when I walked out a few minutes later, I noticed she had rung it up as $41 when it was on sale for $48. I'll be trying to catch "Asha" at checkout when I go there the next time.

You should probably get new friends.

If you want MadWorld, that's the right price.

All of those games were worth full price, other than Mad World. Little King's Story was the best game of the year when it came out. Seriously. There are so many levels on which that game operates storywise it's incredible. It's childish, serious, funny, and contemplative all at the same time. It's also becoming very rare so yeah I'd get it at $30.

All three of the last games were unbelievably good. S&P2 has online leaderboards and will keep you nice and busy. Galaxy 2 is the best 3D platformer. Seriously.

5 years late woo

God I love pure pop stuff like this though. La Roux's pretty good for that too.

And then the ultimate in pop anthems for me.

I was all super confused at what my phone bill was showing up as but then I realized that since I scheduled autopay to start on September 1st, it had pushed my August payment to then and then added it onto my September payment. Whew. Had me worried there.

I use decent fairly liberally. Not sure where all this gamer jazz is coming from, the only game related thing I've seen from that movie is the Alpha 3 KO.

He plays the Final Fantasy 2 baseline, entire shots and lines are taken from videogames and other media, and yeah, the whole thing is basically set up like a videogame.

grafzahl.drdteam.org/

Just use that. GZDoom really does work better by a mile. And it works with Hexen, which is really nice.

It's more than decent. Honestly saying that you're a gamer and disliking the movie is tantamount to calling yourself a poser in the worst way.

There's a place called Oishi Teriaki that's really close by and oh my god I got their level 4 (out of 5) spicy chicken and ahhhhh it's so gooooood but it's like molten lava. And their gyoza are so delicious and I haven't even tried their sushi yet but they all sound amazing.

Yeah, it is pretty much the anthem movie of the gamer generation.

They are super terrible live. Like, when I saw them I just went because Sonata Arctica was opening for them (ugh, such a waste of an amazing band) and their sound setup was god awful. Everyone was maxed out on volume and no one could keep the beat and the drummer couldn't keep up at all. And all of the little kiddies had their Guitar Hero guitars and they'd raise them up to them every few seconds. It was disgusting. I couldn't even tell what songs they were playing. And then I walked out.

In This Moment has always been awesome. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've posted videos of their stuff in the music thread. Maria Brink is unbelievably hot and can seriously scream.

I want this week to be over so I can just start having regular weeks of work. One of the PM handlers got hurt (twisted his ankle and then slammed his knee into the mesh floor) while loading the containers that get put onto airplanes so now they have me trying to replace him and it just doesn't work out because good lord he was really good at it and I am new at it so it becomes very difficult for me to keep up. I actually burst a blood vessel in my hand from it, which hurts, but isn't something to get me taken out because of. And now tomorrow the main street on my route gets shut down at 5:30pm because of a parade so I have to get everything in that area done before then, which is very difficult.

That would be because Kaiden's a douchebag who's really boring (I was tested on for biotics blah blah blah military blah blah I want on you if you're female), Garrus is also boring (I talk about justice a lot and also this one guy that I didn't get to kill let's go kill him) and Liara's just bland (she doesn't really talk about much of anything that I even remember).

Ashley and Wrex's families are almost non-existent as actual talking points. Brought up once for Wrex just so you can have a quest that goes nowhere and once for Ashley to prove that she's a bitch and no one likes her or her racism.

That's all they do. You walk up to Ashley and you get the option to either talk about the one specific thing in her life (her religion and racism) or nothing. You talk about the Flotilla/Quarians with Tali, or nothing. You talk about the genophage with Wrex, or nothing. They have absolutely zero depth to them. They just throw on witty banter during non-cutscenes to try to give them some life but they're all just cardboard cutouts.  Dragon Age is even worse overall because it's really really obvious that they're just over-abusing the same characters. Again. Seriously, they've had the exact same cast in every game since KOTOR.

If by fleshed out you mean "talk about one exact point in their life repeatedly but only when you ask them about it specifically" then yeah, they're fleshed out. Bioware's games have always felt completely wooden to me in terms of characters. Not nearly enough actual talk between the characters without your input and when they do, it's all just generic witty banter garbage.
