ok, i am attempting to do something i haven't yet done.
play diablo 2, solo, from normal to hell, and becoming a patriarch (beating hell difficulty, aka beating the game)
started this character yesterday, im fairly twinked out the ass, currently in a3 nightmare, lets just hope i can drop hell baal when/if i get to him.
also, a few levels ago, it was pretty interesting having a whopping 11 points into skeleton mages...when i didn't even put a single point into the mages. the image shown is maxed skeletons and skeleton mastery, with one point put into everything else. fire golem for standard mobs(his aura = more dudes on him, less on me), clay golem for bosses(decreep + clay golem slow = boss can barely move), summon resist because you are stupid not to get it, revives are pretty much 11 monsters for one point. blablabla, olol at skill level 32 skeleton and skeleton mastery. when i hit level 66 and put on my marrowalks, i will have skill level 34 skeleton mastery. (ohh what i would give for a +1 summons grand charm, i only have +1 poison and bone skills grand charm. i will find one...or three someday.)

also, players 8 until i hit hell, haven't died/had ANY problems whatsoever yet.
and a last note, would you be surprised that i don't care if my favorite class (NECROMANCER) doesn't make it to diablo 3?

ehh to explain the stats
the strength was needed to wear marrowalks, the dex is for maintaining max block because necros get shit for health per vitality point, and i pump vitality when i don't need to invest into dex for obvious reasons. basically if i level, and my block says 75%, its ok to add to vitality, if its anything lower than 75% it goes into dex.
for the most part the skeletons absorb everything, but if the odd ranged attack/me being retarded running into the middle of enemies attack goes to me, i have a high chance of not taking damage.
