But bringing it up in a PSP thread is kind of moot, wouldn't you agree?

I wasn't too big of a fan of the first so...we'll see. :)  I'll definitely rent it and give it a shot.

If you're using RPM, the desired command would more than likely look like this look more like this: yum install a better distro

I propose that we talk to our squad and the crew...get to know some of them a bit (assuming they have storyline significance and, hence, a background, of course :P).

It's a tiny bit smaller, that power thing is retardedly huge tho.

Yeah, tiny bit smaller but a hell of a lot heavier.  Yay for heatsinks!

The power brick can quite literally be called a BRICK.  I can understand why it's so huge (it puts out 235W) but...damn.  It's also about as heavy, if not heavier, than the Wii, which is kind of funny.

hachhchch, My friend wanted a PS3 and me and this other guy were like "the fuck why? theirs like no games on it" and he said "I don't care about games".

What.

Wait.

What.

Fuck.

Please tell me you're joking.

The fact that it would play notes when you had an instrument marked, and that it would continue to play a note even after you released a key.

I'm pretty sure that's a bug; it happens on my laptop but not my desktop...not sure which version is on my desktop system but my laptop is using v1.17.02.48.  Regardless, it is bloody annoying.

I glanced at the source and most of the entire emulation core and the graphics scalers are all written in ASM.

They'd pretty much have to rewrite everything.

I've never had corruption issues with ReiserFS.  JFS...oh yeah, definitely had a LOT of problems with that, but never ReiserFS.

I'm using a mishmash of ReiserFS, ext2, and ext3 on my firewall system.  I don't completely remember how I configured the partitions on that system (and considering it's 300 miles away right now it'll have to wait...especially since I managed to botch the firewall settings so I can't even SSH that box right now :() but I do remember that I used ReiserFS for /usr/portage because it is particularly efficient with storing many small files (seriously, /usr/portage is something like half the size on that system compared to the same data on my main desktop and laptop's ext3 partitions).

...install wine, either through synaptic (click, click, close) or command line (sudo apt-get install wine), then from a console 'wine blah.exe'. I've found very little that doesn't work with that, SPSS being a curious exception. Apparently it does work with wine but I don't have the bandwidth to tinker. :|

Spectere dun't like openoffice? I weep. :(

I despise OpenOffice. :<  I tried to like it but I seriously can't; I just can't get anything done in it.  I spend more time weeding through its "interface" than being productive.

I'd rather use WordPerfect.

Also now that I see you have a livejournal prepare for more amorous stalkin'.

Yez. :>  I've had it for quite a while, ackshully.  WHAT BE UR NAEM?

I was really amused when I realized that the original Xbox and the Xbox 360 are the same size -- the 360 is just curvier and stuff.

I do love how the power supply for the 360 is bigger than life itself, though. :P

Right-o! :)

Be careful if you use OpenMPT, though.  A lot of players don't like what it does to IT files to grant them special effects.  Standard Modplug Tracker should be fine.

Um...ZSNES is written in x86 assembly.  It is NOT going to run on a PSP.  Ever. :/

Always a good thing! :D

Now that you mention it, I rather like the "beating stick" option.  If that were an option for me I'd almost want people to break into my network just so I could hit them repeatedly.

I meant, you know, posting links to websites that have them, not posting links directly to them.

It doesn't matter, it's still against my host's TOS and, therefore, isn't allowed.
